Unreasoned Fear is a Master Intellectual Fraud Practised Upon the Evolving Human!

Today let me take up the second statement of the twenty eight philosophical truths that I discussed from my favorite book earlier. This is the statement:

Few persons live up to the faith which they really have. Unreasoned fear is a master intellectual fraud practiced upon the evolving mortal soul.

In my opinion this statement is concerning the faith of people in God.

Many people say they have faith in God. But is it real ? What is the degree of your faith? How much you trust in God? Is your faith going to shatter under difficult life situations?

Even when we know that God is there to protect and and provide us, there are occasions when we all get shaky and doubt about it.

True, only very few persons live up to the faith they really have! For most of us it is difficult to trust God fully.

We are not able to live up to our faith due to our fears and anxieties.

If God is the creator and provider of the worlds, why should we have any doubt about that when things appear for a short while as not proceeding according to our wish?

Wise men have found out that such fears are uncalled for.

There is no basis for our un-reasoned fears. Why should we lock ourselves and hide when the solar eclipse happen? Millions of people had done that out of great fear and millions perhaps are doing that even in the present times.

Why do we get scared when that fraudulent astrologer predicted an imminent danger ? Is he above God ? Why do we change the spelling of our names to remove the fraudulently predicted evils ?

Imagine the kind of un-reasoned fears that you have !

It would be a good idea to list out all your fears and categorize them in two classes: reasonable and unreasonable!

Those unreasoned and illogical fears are to be removed.

That is possible only when you have absolute faith in the goodness and supremacy of God!

Respect Seniority : A Divine Mandate for Longevity !

In the book of Exodus in the Old Testament Bible, the Ten Commandments that God gave to the descendants of Abraham are given. Out of these ten commandments, only one commandment is with a promise. It is the verse 12 of Chapter 20 of the Book of Exodus. It reads like this:

" Honor your father and mother that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you"

In the Old and New Testament Bible, this commandment is stressed many times.

It is a divine mandate that each and every one in this world respect and honor their parents. If they obey that divine wish, they would have a long life in this world. That is an assurance from God.

Thus, for longevity, one of the main requirements is that one should honor his or her parents.

Since parents are seniors to us by a generation, I would extrapolate that commandment a bit further. I would say, that the divine mandate to us is that we should respect all our seniors for receiving divine blessings.

I have been privileged to read and know much more about the divine organization that governs the whole of the Universe by learning the revealed knowledge from my favorite book of life guidance about which I have written many times in my previous blogs.

In this book too, I remember reading a divine mandate that is given to the celestial or spiritual personalities who exist and work in different capacities in the Universal Administration of God. There are in innumerable orders of personalities who are normally invisible to us humans but are doing innumerable tasks in the innumerable worlds in the vast universe. They talk of the divine injunctions that the higher orders of spiritual personalities have. They talk about just three such injunctions that they have from God and the following are the first two:

1. They should always show adequate respect for the experience and endowments (God given powers) of their seniors and superiors.
2. They should always be considerate of the limitations and inexperience of their juniors and subordinates.

From the above, I presume that it is God's will that we give due respect to our seniors and superiors. It is also God's will that we give due consideration to the limitations and inexperience of our juniors and subordinates.

Every one of us is either a child or a parent or both. Similarly, we are bosses and subordinates at the same time. We are both seniors and juniors at the same time.

So, if we wish to lead a good life and want to ensure longevity, it is necessary that we follow the divine mandate of respecting and honoring the seniors and being considerate to the juniors.

If this simple rule is followed in the simplest organizational unit of the human society-the family-then we are bound to have happy and prosperous families.

If there are more and more such families, our society would be happy and prosperous. In turn our nation would be happy and prosperous. Our business and governmental organizations would have long existence. They are bound to perform well.

Now, those thinking of the other way are perhaps going against the divine mandate.

Many of our corporate business leaders and management experts think of making quick returns and results by going against this mandate. They think it is better bypass seniority in the organizational ladders with dynamic juniors for getting quick benefits. Quick benefits they might get. But then longevity of the organization would be the casualty.

Would it be wise to make the son the head of the family in place of the father just because the former has acquired a university degree the latter did not have ? Would it be wise for the son to disrespect his father in such a case ?

In our world today, such things are happening. Juniors, sons and daughters are getting too impatient. They want to occupy the seniors' position in the shortest time. Respecting the seniors is not an important thing for a good number of people. At the same time a good number of seniors do not consider it as important to be considerate to their juniors. Same is the case with many parents with regard to their attitude towards their children.

Both things are not according to the divine will. When we deviate from the divine mandate, we start losing the divine blessings. Without that blessing, our life would become more and more difficult. We may lose our longevity and the goodness of life!

Why not think about this seriously ?

The Story of the Evolution of Colored Human Races and the Effect of Varying Contrasts on Earth !

Some time ago I wrote about the history of the origin of human beings on earth. That was an abridged account of the information I got from my favorite book .

If you have not read it you may use this link to find that blog and read it now. [ Click Here!]

Now you know about the Andonites. They were  the first human race on earth who populated earth from just one pair of humans who got evolved by controlled gene mutation from a kind of tree dwelling animals almost a million years ago.

The population of Andonites increased on earth and in later years they spread out in various groups or clans and clan-fighting among them was a common affair.

But the interesting thing is that they were of one race, having perhaps the same blood group.

During the next 500,000 years, the Andonites migrated to various lands many of which were connected together, unlike the continental masses as we know now. The people during this long period developed into many notable cultural groups now identified by our anthropologists by their exploratory research.

These developments occurred during the period what modern scientists identify as the first ice-age [in reality it was the third ice age!]

The primitive men who migrated to the eastern side got mixed with their near-animal cousins residing in the forests. Those where similar to the now identified 'Java men'. Because of this inferior intermixing, much genetic deterioration took place in these peoples.

Those migrating to the north west were not so affected by the inferior inter-breeding. They developed in to the so-called Foxhall peoples, the Heidleberg race, the Eskimos, etc.

Another group that developed in and around the original place where Andon and Fonta originated - the foothills of the north-western highlands of India was the Badonan tribe.

Incidentally, it was this Badonan tribals of North India who were the only descendants of Andon and Fonta, who never practiced human sacrifice as a means of pleasing their primitive gods, out of all the tribal groups that emerged during this period among the Andonites.

About 850,000 years ago, these Badonan tribes engaged long battle extending over 1000 years with their neighboring peoples who were more of animal nature and forced those inferior groups to go south wards to the dense southern jungles.

This long fighting caused a warrior group of Badonan tribes to develop later as the now identified Neanderthal race.

Just about half a million years ago, another important development took place among the same Badonan tribes of India. They were again involved in a great racial battle that raged for over a century. After the battle, only about 100 families survived. But those survived were the most intelligent and desirable humans among the then living descendants of Andon and Fonta.

Among these 100 odd surviving Badonan tribal families of India was the family identified as the Sangik Family. In this family, a couple strangely began to get children who were markedly different in their skin colors. Altogether there were 19 children, boys and girls, but they had six different skin colors, representing the colors of the spectrum of sunlight now we know as VIBGYOR, except the first, namely violet. So the six colors of the children this family had were Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.

Truely, these children had some substance in their skin cells that turned to a specific color when exposed to sunlight. Strangely some gene transformation had taken place in the children of the same parents in one family. We may safely assume that these differently colored children had different blood groups as well.

All these six groups of children were intellectually superior to others in the Badonan tribes or other Andonites.

But birds of the same feather flock together! Folks of the same color too flock together ! So, in the subsequent times, six colored races emerged from these colored children of the Sangik family of the Badonan tribe of the North Indian highlands. Their population increased there after and they filled the then known lands on earth together with the descendants of their hairy bodied Andonite forefathers.

Out of the six colored races, the Red, Yellow and the Blue races were superior than the Orange, Green and Indigo races.

Great fighting and intermixing happened in the thousands of years that followed. The orange, green and blue races got almost fully eliminated in the struggles that followed.

The remaining races are a mixture of all these races in varying degrees. Perhaps the least intermixed race would be the yellow race and the red race. Most of the blue genes are absorbed in the present day Europeans. The African races of present day contains most of the Indigo and green races.

The animal origin beings cannot achieve mental, intellectual and spiritual capabilities beyond a certain level through natural evolution over the years. To over come this limitation, the divine creators of the universes normally allow another technique. This technique is known as the biologic uplift. In this method, a superior human race from another superior world is employed to intermix with the native races of the planet concerned.

Adam and Eve of earth were a specimen couple who were natives of another superior world. They had volunteered to be tele-transported to earth using a technique involving de-materialization and materialization. They were brought to a well prepared land (now stand sunk under the Mediterranean sea!) some 38000 years ago. This place was the Garden of Eden No.1. Their skin color was violet and they were indeed superior humans who were nearly 8 feet tall. In their native world, they were practically immortals. They would have remained on earth in the same manner, had they not violated the divine mandate.

Their divine mandate was to train the native animal origin human beings of earth and to give proper leadership on earth. They were also required to develop their own progeny and make them another independent and superior race. The violet colored race of their descendants were required to adopt race intermixing by marriage in the later years in a selective manner when their own population became in the order of a million. It had to be followed in a systematic manner and not in a hurry. The original Adamic couple were not to engage in any race intermixing activities with the native tribals of earth.

But this divine mandate was broken first by Eve and then by Adam. (This story is depicted in the Bible as the original sin of Eve eating the forbidden apple and Adam following her in the act!)

This unplanned and hasty decision of Eve and Adam caused the original tribals (those residing in and around of the first Eden garden) of earth developing a sudden enmity against them, totally disregarding their superior qualities. The majority tribals became enemies to the small minority group of the Adams and the former forced the latter to flee from their garden.

The Adams lost their divine support systems. Many of their own children were taken back to their native world. But some remained with them. They experienced many tragedies in the subsequent life on earth. They established their second residence on earth on a land in the present day Iraq, called the second Eden.

The biologic upliftment as divinely mandated for earth was disturbed and could not be implemented as planned.

Since the Adams are a totally different species of humans not created in the normal controlled evolutionary route, their blood would not contain any animal factors. So they should be the original Rh negative people on earth. On the other hand, those evolved humans, the Andonites, should have blood factor that is found in some animals such as the Rhesus monkeys. They are obviously the Rh positive types.

Any way, in the centuries that followed, the people of earth got some minor Adamic inheritance. It is roughly estimated that around 2-5 percent of the human population on earth now have Rh negative blood. There is a vast variation of this blood group from continent to continent and place to place ranging from 0.02 % to 15%.

So, as on today, earthly humans are a mix of seven basic races having some specific genetic features, a few of which is characterized by the presence and absence  (in varying degrees) of the pigment called melanin or its derivatives in the skin cells. This pigment is believed to protect people from the harmful effects of the ultra violet (UV) rays from the sun in addition to giving color characteristics to the human bodies. The feature is coded in the genes of the people just as the various blood groups.

Additionally, there are people among us who have the genetic features of the original Andonites characterized by a higher growth of hair in their bodies. Such genetic features are also mixed up.

Again there were some other types of humans with entirely different body features (some with some higher physical and mental abilities) who too had intermixed with the locally evolved human races. My favorite book gives some valuable information on that count too. But what is important to be noted is that all these intermixing had taken place in a non uniform manner. So the physical and mental abilities of people in our world varies greatly. Some of the rarest genetic features appear very rarely. It also causes genetic disorders too in some cases.

So every person in this world is perhaps with a unique genetic structure and therefore different in some characteristics from his or her fellow beings while exhibiting many common features at the same time.

So the understanding capability of every person is different in this world. If I say something, it may not be understood the manner I wanted by all others around me. And such a situation is a cause for misunderstandings. The chances for misunderstandings rises as the communication exchanges increase between the unequal persons. That leads to conflicts among individuals, groups and nations !

But do not be under the impression that such conflicts in our world would remain for ever. In the distant future most of our descendants would progress towards perfection attaining the best of the genetic qualities that humans could possibly have. At that distant future time conflicts would no more be there as every one understands the other in the same manner. As people would have the highest spiritual capacity as well, the manner in which we understand God and worship God also would become uniform. We would know God properly and would be inclined to live according to the will of God. We would know for sure our destinies even after our physical death. We would never be worried of any thing as we would be almost perfect in our knowledge and wisdom!

Our world has been designed to move from imperfection to perfection !

My book says that God could have made a perfect world of perfect people with no conflicts. Such worlds also exist in this vast universe.

But the personalities of such worlds would perhaps lack the experience of knowing the contrasts! How could you know hot and cold or light and darkness if there is no temperature difference or if there is no light or if there is only light?

So worlds of contrasts are essential for certain kinds of experiences. And experience enhances knowledge and wisdom!

And our experiences might even provide valuable inputs to even those who are not involved with our experiences but are mere observers!

Are you getting the logic?

If not, there is nothing to be worried.

Perhaps you lack the right genetics as of now to understand these the way I intended!

What Happens After Death ? The Question that Intrigues Millions and the Answers !

For the past couple of days, my own mind keep insisting me to write a blog on this question, what happens after death, in simple terms that I understood from the vast revealed knowledge that I gained from my favorite book of life guidance.

Of my own, I was thinking of writing about some contemporary issues. But somehow I was not allowed to do so by my own inner mind. So, there was no escape. But, to prepare me for the writing, it so occurred that I should do a bit research in the world wide web to see whether people are interested to know about this or not.

So, on the Google search box, I began typing: What h....... and to my surprise, Google completed the rest as, what happens after death?

What a surprise ? Do you know the number of results that Google search returned ? Just see for yourself by clicking the linked question above.

So millions are asking this question and perhaps thousands are answering the question according to their own wisdom and interpretations.

Out of curiosity, I began reading some of the prominent questions and the answers that the Google search provided.

The first was this: This was the page of an independent spiritual organization named: Spiritual Science Research Foundation founded by an Indian psychologist who later became an independent student of Indian spirituality and turned himself as a Saint imparting spiritual knowledge based on Hindu scriptures and teachings laced with his own modern interpretations. The website of this organization tackled this question in the very beginning itself : Where do we go after death ?

It was indeed an interesting reading, though most of the things that they had covered in it were already known to me. What is commendable is the manner in which the old Hindu concepts have been reformulated in a manner that is a bit scientific. No doubt, it enlightens the inquisitive readers to a great extent and contains many truths. It would have satisfied me too, had I not known what I knew now.

The modern spiritual Guru of India and the proponent of the Art of Living, Shri Shri Ravishankar also addressed this question more or less in a simpler manner to his disciples and followers. It can be read in the web site of the Art of Living movement here: What happens after death ?

Then comes the detailed explanation of the question as given by a Christian independent organization based on the Bible. This can be read here: The Mystery of Death !   It is indeed a very detailed writing and there are truths contained in this too. But indeed different from what the Hindu saints teach from their traditional spiritual knowledge! This is what had been known to me and taught to me since my childhood, but I knew there is some thing lacking in this too.

Then there are scores of faiths and interpretations that are promulgated by the proponents and scholars of various other religions that are essentially permutations and combinations of similar ideas that originate in the minds of humans.

But these concepts fundamentally accept the existence of a Universal Creator or God behind all things that we see and understand. That way, God is the central theme in all these religions and spiritual concepts.

But we cannot simply ignore the ideas of the rationalists and the atheists in this context when they ask disturbing questions with scientific logic. These are the people who refuse to believe in the existence of God and forcing their minds to accept the theory of random evolution. The idea of the evolution of human beings by random chance of events is another theory which attracts many so-called intelligent humans. For them, nothing happens after death. The matter in the living body cease to exist for ever and nothing survives after death. The intelligent personality of the human being who moved around prominently for some time with money, power and doing things good and bad was gone for ever! It is simply immaterial whether he or she lived in some mansions here or  innumerable memorials got constructed while living or afterwards! In this world today we also have varying theories based on this concept as well.

Now in short, what are our concepts and ideas about what happens after death? Some say our 'satvic' or spiritual essence either gets recycled in a cycle of re-incarnations and eventually gets 'dissolved' in the universal spiritual energy source, that is God. And that is our final attainment. In between we might also live in various negative and positive realms as per our 'karma' or acts that are good or bad. Yet some others say that we all will resurrect after some time and be judged for our good and bad acts. The good ones would enter the nice place of God called heaven and the bad ones would go to hell to be tormented for ever with the opponent of God, called Satan.

Then the intelligent atheist ridicules the above beliefs of the spiritualists and the followers of the religions and believes in a total end of life after death. For him, what survives and gets recycled are the atoms of the human bodies!

But none of the above concepts, perhaps, contain the perfect truth. If we are indeed created by a Creator God, then we are simply creatures and we may not be able to know more than the Creator. Can a humanoid robot be greater than the scientists and engineers who created it ? Unless the latter so feeds its memory, it cannot have any clue of how it came into existence or what happens after its battery drains out!

In a similar way, we we are just an accident of nature, then perhaps, we need not even try to find the answer.

But, my dear readers! My favorite book of life guidance gave me the answers to these questions. And the answers that are provided in this book are not human imaginations or logic! It is a revelation of knowledge from the superior sources who are responsible for the creation and administration of all the worlds in our vast universes that we are yet to comprehend and understand.

The book tells us that all what we have theorized using our intelligent brains are partially true. So our theories of evolution, creation, total end after death, re-incarnations or re-births, resurrections, heaven, hell, God, angels, ghosts, Son of God, Satan, cycles of life, dissolution of life energy in God, etc, etc are all true, but only partially. There are things which we can understand, not understand and understand only partially.

Because, what we are trying to find out is about God and His wisdom which are both infinite and we, his creatures are essentially finite and with limits of knowledge, wisdom and life unless otherwise decided by our Creator.

To tell you in brief, let me tell you some truths that had been revealed to me through the book which , I categorically stress this, are not from any human source. These are corrective information inputs from the agencies of God, given now to put human thoughts in the right track!

The information is vast and it is difficult to describe all in a small blog like this one. But the following is the gist of the truth you should know in the context of the title of this blog:

1. Our world and the life forms that we see in our worlds, including we humans, have originated through a process of evolution. But it was not an accidental evolution. It is a purposeful evolution caused and controlled by an intelligent and invisible universe administration created and controlled by the the First Source and Center of every thing, that we may call as God.
2. There are trillions of similar or dissimilar worlds where intelligent life exist in this universe.
3. There are evolutionary spheres such as our earth which are abodes of evolutionary creatures like we human beings and non-evolutionary created worlds which are essentially administrative headquarter worlds of the universe administration. The latter worlds are also in the order of billions and are much bigger and marvelous as compared to the evolutionary worlds. These created worlds (non-evolutionary) may be called the heavenly worlds and they are all different as their functions are different.
4. There are several orders of  intelligent material beings similar or dissimilar to human beings who are created by the process of controlled evolution. All evolutionary material beings like human beings exist in their native world of evolutionary origin only once. Their material existence comes to an end after some time called their mortal life. The mortal life span varies from 25 years to 500 years in various evolutionary worlds on the average, if we measure it in our unit of time.
5. Plants and animals have life and are provided for some useful purpose in the various worlds. But they do not develop an intelligent personality. Whereas all orders of humans have a unique personality which is a special gift of God. Personality of humans can survive material death, if God so desires.
6. Human beings who have advanced in material evolutionary progress to some desirable levels are provided with a special and unique power fragment of God which resides within the intelligent mind of such humans. This fragment of God is capable of helping all humans to take the right decisions in life in accordance with the wish of God, provided their own mind is willing to listen to such an advice. This is because God has decreed to provide all humans a mind that is essentially free-willed. All humans are essentially capable of self decision making regardless of any influences. Whether they use this power, too is their own choice.
7. Just as there are human beings of different kinds, there are various orders of intelligent personalities who are created by God in super material realms for the purpose of creation and administration of the vast universes and the worlds. There are also supreme orders of personalities who are not created by God as such but are eventuated from God. Some of these personalities might function as delegated authorities of God and they are for all practical purposes may be deemed as God. They are all divine beings. But the degree of divinity may be different and varying.
8.The whole of the worlds in the universe are spheres and are in constant motion. The only unique abode that is not exactly a sphere and not moving is the center of the whole universe. This too is a world which is perhaps larger than all the other worlds put together and is the abode of God and his various divine associates. All material and non material phenomena including those associated with life are linked to this center and are supervised or controlled from here.
9.As the distances between the various worlds are too great to the order of too many light years, it is impossible for any material being to travel from one world to the other in his life time. Only, non material beings of the celestial orders are capable of inter planetary travel among the various galaxies. There are various orders of celestial beings who can travel at speeds several times greater than the speed of light as they are non-material beings.
10. God, the First Source and Centre, never moves out from his abode. There is no need for Him to do that as He is the only one who knows all His creatures and creations, both living and non-living, wholly and perfectly.
11. God loves all His creatures and creations and He has a purpose for every thing. But He acts on the basis of His universal laws and does not cause any partiality by changing His laws arbitrarily. But at the same time He has delegated many of His powers to His various divine associates for the purpose of universe creation and administration.
12. God has created or caused the creation of both perfect and imperfect beings and there is a divinely wise purpose for all His acts.
13. Evolutionary mortals just as human beings are created for a divine purpose. All are valuable creatures for God. The essential purpose of human beings as willed by God for every mortal being is to progress in life from imperfection to perfection while gaining evolutionary experience. They are required to choose good from the bad by self choice and by actual experience unlike many perfectly created divine beings who are intrinsically good and perfect.
14. All intellectual personalities, immortal divine beings of the highest orders and the mortal human beings of the lowest orders are all sons of God and are for carrying out some purpose in the affairs of the worlds.
15. All mortal beings who are aspiring for perfection to be like God and are willing to make their choices according to the will of God are bound to acquire immortality after their death in their evolutionary material world and are bound reach the presence of God in some future time and transform to the status of a divine being of evolutionary progress and experience. The personality of such human beings are preserved and they take up re-births and life translations many times during their onward progress through the various non-evolutionary worlds to the final abode of God, the First Source. The re-births and life translations are essentially required for enabling inter-world travel of great distances. During the course of this progress, such human beings progress in knowledge, intelligence, mind capacity and other such powers. They also get opportunities to understand the life and working of both material and non material beings in other worlds.
16. Mortal material beings acquire immortality as the divine beings by a fusion of the power of God that resides in the individual and the the individual's own personality essence. But such a fusion is possible only when the individual's own personality is aligned with the God-fraction that resides in his mind. If these two factors are not aligned, the human personality cease to exist and the God-fraction that lived in his or her mind returns back to God with some life experience. The experienced God-fraction that returned to God may be resend to reside in another human being in another world, but normally not in the same world.
17. While a human being lives among his or her kind, a number of divine beings are keenly observing the individuals progress in life. There is the God-fraction that lives in the mind of the individual and a number of invisible divine personalities who are around performing various works with out the individual never realizing. However, some human beings who are more aligned with God may be able to recognize these activities to some extent.
18. It is a fact that there are some lower order divine beings who do not exactly act in the way God wants and they are likely to face divine judgement for misconduct. Such beings of immortal status may loose their freedom and could be quarantined in some non-evolutionary worlds for ever. Such non-evolutionary worlds may not be matching our concepts of the hell, but could be like hell for those divine beings who are confined there.
19. Some divine beings are of the order of the higher Sons of God. Many of them are divine rulers of vast regions of the universe containing millions of worlds. Our earth is part of such a region ruled by such a Son of God who is the Divine Sovereign of this universe region who for all practical purposes is Our God. It is a mandate of God that such sovereign universe rulers attain perfection in administration after they experience at least seven different life forms they had created in their universe regions by incarnating themselves in the lives of their own creatures. The divine sovereign of our universe region had taken up a human form in our world some two thousand years ago which was his last incarnation to attain full sovereignty. Because of this, our world is a special sphere of importance.
20. There is a small number of worlds in our universe region which are quarantined or isolated from the rest of the worlds in the universe. This isolation is because of some misdeeds of a few lower level divine administrators responsible for these worlds. However, they are divine beings of very lower subordinate orders under the sovereign of our universe region. Our earth is one of such worlds which got affected this way. Because of this isolation, we have lost our ability to perceive the presence of the divine beings who are stationed on earth. There are numerous divine beings present on earth now which include both those who have chosen to rebel against the universe administration and those who are with the universe administration.
21. The problems of earth are to a great extent due to the misdeeds of the rebel celestial beings in the past thousands of years. However, as of now these rebels have not much powers to do misdeeds. However, there are numerous confused humans who could perpetuate problems. Incidentally, the name Satan as humans know from various sources is one among the rebel divine beings responsible for the progress and administration of our planet. This divine personality is already quarantined. However, there are many of his associates now on earth who are not quarantined and would face such a fate some time in the future as decided by the universe administration.
22. Those who had willfully chosen not to follow the God's plans would end up in loosing their god-fraction and their chance to progress to higher worlds of living. They would not proceed to the presence of God retaining their individual personalities. No doubt, their god-fraction would proceed to God without their personality. Thus they would not survive material death as they lived their lives without following God's guidance from the pilot lamp of truth that is directly from God and that resided in their minds. The essence of God's desire, is simple and not so difficult to follow. Those who are desirous of surviving material death and retain their individual personalities should have the desire to know God and to be like Him (that is the desire for perfection and goodness). They should realize that God is the Universe Father of every one and His essential personality characteristics are love and mercy. And all those who aspire to be like God should willfully acquire these characteristics of love and mercy. All other things then follow automatically. Such humans would survive death and live for ever retaining their individual personalities exploring the whole of the universes while one day reaching the very presence of God to be embraced divinity and to attain powers for doing many fold works in the worlds that are yet under creation.

My dear reader! I earnestly hope that you could understood what I presented from the great revelation of knowledge which I gained recently. If the desire to be like God burns in you, you would consider exploring the book that I mentioned yourself.

In that case, you are likely to experience the cessation of all your anxieties and worries about death as you chose to move towards perfection and doing the will of God.

You would understand the reality of life and its purpose. And that would not be anything abstract. You would gain the capability to distinguish between false gurus preaching for their vested worldly gains and those who are selfless humans just living their lives according to the will of God.

You would not be perturbed or affected by the evil forces. Death is no more a dreadful thing. While living is a great opportunity to experience life doing the will of God, death would open the potential for a much advanced living of the future.

Anxieties have no place in your life. Your confidence and faith in God would become real.

But remember, if you are to reach God and if it has to have some meaning, your personality or you yourself should live and proceed to be in the presence of God. Not just the god-fragment in you. The god-fragment in you is after all part of God Himself and it has to fuse with you for you to live for ever as you. Did you get it?

Best wishes !

Would It Be Possible To Carry Two Litres of Milk In A One Litre Jug ?

Any one with a bit of common sense would immediately answer this question. They know it is a big No. But let me ask that question a bit differently.

There are two jugs out there which are looking alike from the outside. Would they both carry the same quantity of milk? Some of you might say, yes. Some may say, no. Yet some others might say, it is difficult to say unless you check those critically. In this case, all these answers have a chance of proving to be the right one.

In the case of such physical measurements, we seem to be quite sure or we are capable of arriving at the right answer without much difficulty.

Anyway, we are sure that no one litre jug can hold two litres of any liquid. That is simply not possible! That is what science has taught us.

But what about the physical capacities of two persons of equal body dimensions doing the same work with equal efficiency?

Let me put that question clarified a bit more. Suppose that there are 10 boys of equal body weight, age and heights. They are all equally trained in a sports academy. If they were to participate in a 100 m dash, could we safely assume that all would finish at the same time? Perhaps not.

That is because, every person is different in some manner, however equal they may appear outwardly. Every one of us has an inherent capacity for physical, intellectual and mental activities.

By training and practice we can achieve the maximum of our inherent capacity. Just as a farmer tries many tricks to fill his bag with more and more grains ! Once the bag has reached its maximum capacity, any more trial of force filling the bag would result in a rupture of the bag.

There are some bosses and superiors who try to get the maximum work from their subordinates by various tricks of coercing. They might succeed to some extent. But beyond a limit they would certainly fail. Such coercive techniques are bound to cause some of their employees breaking down eventually causing irreparable damages to their organizations. Some organizations do break up much before their normal life span due to this. Some humans also live in much stress and stain breaking down much ahead of their useful lives due to this.

What is important to be remembered in this is this:

Inherent capacities can never be exceeded; a pint can never hold a quart !

This is a universal truth that wise men of earth have understood well by experience and observations.

I had a senior colleague who used to argue that it was possible for every human being to do any work provided they were willing to work hard and undergo the necessary training. But it was difficult for me to agree to this view point fully.

If it were so, then the universal truth statement above would not be true! I personally feel that the wise men of earth would not have come to this conclusion if it were the other way round. My own experience and observation validate it.

I do not know whether you agree with me or not. There are chances that many may agree while many may disagree. It all depends upon your understanding capacity. I cannot force my concepts on to your mind, unless you have some capacity margins. Again one should be willing to open the mind sack of theirs!

My favorite book of life guidance re-iterates this truth. Not only it does so, it further adds this:

The spirit concept cannot be mechanically forced into the material memory mold.

Quite true. It is not possible for many people to understand certain spiritual truths. Because inherently they lack the capacity  for that.

It is not impossible to expand spiritual understanding capacity of humans beyond the inherent mind capacity they have. But they definitely can utilize the inherent capacity fully if they are willing.

Are you getting impatient because your child is not able to understand that science and mathematics just as the other children even after all those coaching and tutoring? Are you getting frustrated by it ?

Remember, the universal truth that I mentioned above.

But also remember that we human beings are inherently designed with varying physical, intellectual and spiritual capacities. While we all can attain our inherent capacities by proper use and desire to use such capacities, we cannot possibly extent those beyond what existed originally in us.

Every generation of humans have a constant average capacity with regard to our abilities.

With every generation, this average is bound to improve, unless we do some utter foolish acts collectively.

We are progressing slowly by enhancing our inherent capacities.

But do not expect that all in one generation to gain similar capacities. That is expecting the impossible.

A rubber band can be stretched to some length by force. But if you exceed the force, it would not stretch further, but definitely break!

But God's plans are perfect and wise. We are all made individually different for performing great things collectively.

When we realize that and act accordingly, instead of keeping us individually not under great duress, we are bound to gain wonderful results collectively. And that would make us individually surprised!

I keep observing several of my fellows all around who keep themselves under great stress and strain which is not at all necessary. But they would not realize. They are all busy trying the impossible than doing the possible!

Hope, I am not forcing you to stretch out to a breakdown!

Ten Fundamental and Practical Rules of Management for Chief Management Facilitators !

In today's world, academicians who propagate management research concepts to young aspiring managers in the high end Management Institutes are called Management Gurus (MG). Umpteen hot selling and high priced books written by such MGs not only find their prominence in the academic book stalls, but also in the pull carts of the book vendors of the major railway stations. In my country India, there is a likelihood of a person termed as uncultured and illiterate by the so-called neo-affluent if he or she does not recollect the names of a few MGs and a few Cricketers.

Because Cricket and Management are the two things where all the money is made, besides the conventional Bollywood. And Indians are very fond of money, apart from being equally fond of spirituality, the latter being the essential  pre-requisite for the former! Even the Martian Spacecraft too would not be allowed to lift off unless the gods are pleased!

In such an environment, all gurus are welcome, so long as they have some magical mantras for money making.

So, there are absolutely no regrets if the Management Institutes raised their fees by ten or twenty fold in just a couple of years. After all that cannot be termed as tuition fees any more. It is some sort of an advance commission to be paid to the facilitators who would make the youngsters equipped with money spinning mantras from their potential future earnings. The higher the fees, the higher the chances of the young boy or girl to get in to a high paying corporate as a talented management team member entrusted with the task of money making. Obviously, for such a recruitment to be effected, the Management Institute has to have a proper placement cell adequately funded and managed by efficient corporate lobbyists.

Money begets money! That is the first mantra of money making! And also modern management! The more you spend and throw out, the more some one will grab! But this is some thing that the MGs would not tell you openly.

The Management Institute is ranked by the number of students getting placement offers just before they pass out. The term used is campus recruitment. Equally important is the highest annual salary package the fresh manager from the institute is offered by the corporate. If the corporate offer for the fresher is many times more than the annual salary of the top ranking government official of the country, it is news. People have to just sit and wonder about the potential of money making in management!

Many of these young managers would soon become Chief Executive Officers of companies whose sole purpose would be to make money by any means, a good part of that money amassed earmarked for themselves. Some would venture in to the creation of such companies. But interestingly, it would be difficult for the common people to understand what the majority of these companies are doing? It is simply difficult because they make money by manipulation of policies and that is where the big money is, rather than creation of goods and services for the benefit of the people at large.

Thus Management of the present day has deteriorated as some sort of Manipulation Techniques. Best corporate managers now known as CEOs are best be called Manipulation Technique Experts (MTE)!

Now the fundamental and practical rules of management that I would like to give here are not for the CEOs who are MTEs.

It is for those CEOs who would prefer to be known as Chief Management Facilitators (CMFs). The abbreviation sounds like EMF, or the Electro Motive Force of applied physics. And in practice, CMFs aka CEOs,  should act like EMFs in a successful organization.

Now, what I would like to give below may not be agreeable fully to the MTE type CEOs. And as I explained, it is not for them. And I am not an MG by any means.

Now let us see what these ten fundamental rules are:

1. The first and foremost importance to any organization should be honest concern for people, both within and outside.
2. The functioning of the organization should be based on a minimum set of objectives which are known to all, but profit making or money making should not be one of those.
3. Elaborate written rules and procedures should not be encouraged. Instead, recognize character and competence of every individual honestly.
4. The culture of respecting and honoring other human beings should be encouraged.
5. The organization should voluntarily encourage openness and transparency. All essential aspects of its functioning including the details of its people should be available in its website. The organization should consider answering public any public query as important as any other activity.
6. All managers shall be facilitators and mentors for others. Centralization of authority should be avoided.
7. Delegation of work and responsibility shall not be imbalanced.
8. CMF and all other Management Facilitators should be reasonably conversant with the various functions under their responsibility areas. More importantly they should all know every other person by name and nature with whom they are supposed to work as a team.
9. The organization culture shall be slowly built up in such a way that every one feels happy to belong to the organization. A loss of a person should be felt across the organization as a real loss!
10. The culture of honesty should be encouraged.

Those organizations which function on the above said principles are found to be in existence healthily for longer duration than those which do not give importance to the above. Such organizations are the successful ones for a longer period. They are the organizations (business or others) which the society and the country could be proud of.

Their CMFs will not pressurize all others down below for quick results even at the cost of violation of the laws of the land. In turn, they ensure that they function for the benefit of their clients and the country.

They would avoid lobbyists who could manipulate the rules for their own benefits. Greed would not be their driving force of actions.

No doubt, more and more CMF driven companies and organizations would make a country prosperous. Alternatively, MTE driven companies and organizations would drag the nation and its people to disaster.

About God and Religion: Some Information I Thought of Sharing !

Today I was re-reading the Paper titled " The Foundations of Religious Faith" written by a divine being belonging to the order of the Melchizedeks from my favorite book of life guidance

I thought I should share some of the observations of this divine author wrote in this paper, with my readers.

Remember, the following are simply some random quotes from the above mentioned paper, and these are written for us human beings, but not the words of any other human being:

The universe and God are not identical; one is cause, the other effect. The cause is absolute, infinite, eternal, and changeless; the effect, time-space and transcendental but ever changing, always growing.

God is the one and only self-caused fact in the universe. He is the secret of the order, plan, and purpose of the whole creation of things and beings.

The everywhere-changing universe is regulated and stabilized by absolutely unchanging laws, the habits of an unchanging God.

The fact of God, the divine law, is changeless; the truth of God, his relation to the universe, is a relative revelation which is ever adaptable to the constantly evolving universe.

The fact of religious experience implies God, and such a God of personal experience must be a personal Deity. You cannot pray to a chemical formula, supplicate a mathematical equation, worship a hypothesis, confide in a postulate, commune with a process, serve an abstraction, or hold loving fellowship with a law.

Man can, intellectually, deny God and yet be morally good, loyal, filial, honest, and even idealistic. Man may graft many purely humanistic branches onto his basic spiritual nature and thus apparently prove his contentions in behalf of a godless religion, but such an experience is devoid of survival values, God-knowingness and God-ascension. In such a mortal experience only social fruits are forthcoming, not spiritual.

The intellectual earmark of religion is certainty; the philosophical characteristic is consistency; the social fruits are love and service.

The God-knowing individual is not one who is blind to the difficulties or unmindful of the obstacles which stand in the way of finding God in the maze of superstition, tradition, and materialistic tendencies of modern times. He has encountered all these deterrents and triumphed over them, surmounted them by living faith, and attained the highlands of spiritual experience in spite of them.

But it is true that many who are inwardly sure about God fear to assert such feelings of certainty because of the multiplicity and cleverness of those who assemble objections and magnify difficulties about believing in God.

It requires no great depth of intellect to pick flaws, ask questions, or raise objections. But it does require brilliance of mind to answer these questions and solve these difficulties; faith certainty is the greatest technique for dealing with all such superficial contentions.

The highest evidence of the reality and efficacy of religion consists in the fact of human experience; namely, that man, naturally fearful and suspicious, innately endowed with a strong instinct of self-preservation and craving survival after death, is willing fully to trust the deepest interests of his present and future to the keeping and direction of that power and person designated by his faith as God. That is the one central truth of all religion. As to what that power or person requires of man in return for this watchcare and final salvation, no two religions agree; in fact, they all more or less disagree.

Regarding the status of any religion in the evolutionary scale, it may best be judged by its moral judgments and its ethical standards. The higher the type of any religion, the more it encourages and is encouraged by a constantly improving social morality and ethical culture.

Ethics is the external social or racial mirror which faithfully reflects the otherwise unobservable progress of internal spiritual and religious developments. Man has always thought of God in the terms of the best he knew, his deepest ideas and highest ideals. Even historic religion has always created its God conceptions out of its highest recognized values. Every intelligent creature gives the name of God to the best and highest thing he knows.

While personal religion precedes the evolution of human morals, it is regretfully recorded that institutional religion has invariably lagged behind the slowly changing mores of the human races.

God is the first truth and the last fact; therefore does all truth take origin in him, while all facts exist relative to him. God is absolute truth.

Faith transforms the philosophic God of probability into the saving God of certainty in the personal religious experience. Skepticism may challenge the theories of theology, but confidence in the dependability of personal experience affirms the truth of that belief which has grown into faith.

To science God is a possibility, to psychology a desirability, to philosophy a probability, to religion a certainty, an actuality of religious experience.

The facts of evolution must not be arrayed against the truth of the reality of the certainty of the spiritual experience of the religious living of the God-knowing mortal.

The gods of primitive men may have been no more than shadows of themselves; the living God is the divine light whose interruptions constitute the creation shadows of all space.

Prayer is indeed a part of religious experience, but it has been wrongly emphasized by modern religions, much to the neglect of the more essential communion of worship. The reflective powers of the mind are deepened and broadened by worship. Prayer may enrich the life, but worship illuminates destiny.

Organic evolution is a fact; purposive or progressive evolution is a truth which makes consistent the otherwise contradictory phenomena of the ever-ascending achievements of evolution. The higher any scientist progresses in his chosen science, the more will he abandon the theories of materialistic fact in favor of the cosmic truth of the dominance of the Supreme Mind.

If the above passages have stirred your spiritual self, think of reading the book I have mentioned in the beginning of this blog.

Best Wishes !

Indian Child Prodigy Kautilya and the Possible Reasons for Such Phenomena Happening !

Many people are surprised by the extraordinary talent of memorizing that a small kid from Haryana,  the North Indian state of India, is endowed with. The media has reported much about his talents in memorizing facts about geography, economic data, etc at a tender age of  just 5 odd years, an age when normal children around the world just start toiling to memorize the alphabets or some nursery rhymes.

This boy is Kautilya Pandit, son of One Mr Satish Sharma, a resident of Kohand Village of District Karnal in Haryana State of India. His prowess of memorizing and quick recapitulation has amazed the Indian media and he has been in the media glare for a few months now. Amazed by his abilities, the media has named him 'Google Boy Kautilya'. Other showbiz media such as the Amitab Bacchan Show, Kaun Banega Crorepati or KBC had already showcased  him  in a special episode they aired on 14th October 2013.

Since some contributors have already taken the task of opening a Wikipedia Page about Kautilya, I am sure that more such information about this boy wonder could be obtained from this site.

Already scientists who observe and study human behavior and mind oddities have started their work on this boy. The psychologists are keen to study his abnormal mind capacities and make their own theories and postulates about such 'minds at mischief' as they have been attempting on many such human geniuses for the past many years.

When some thing extra ordinary happens, some of us are bound to be curious to know more. But let me ask you this. Do you get surprised when your child starts talking fluently for the first time? Many of us, including myself, were puzzled when our children used some language phraseology and words that we thought we never taught them or used in front of them! How is that the children learn languages much quicker while that ability seems to slow down in later years?

Our scientists while researching on these aspects with due stress on the biological aspects of the brain cells, they regrettably forget one essential thing. That is the simple, but strong evidence of an invisible Super Intelligence behind the design of the complex bio physiology that we observe in our bodies and also in all plant and animal lives.

And we also forget the possibility of our invisible Creative Intelligence responsible for our material lives giving us some invisible super material abilities as well that cannot be easily observed through our microscopes.

While we do not recognize God and His acts in our scientific research, we do recognize and believe in God in our other facet of life that we prefer to identify as our spiritual or religious life. Is it not some kind of a hypocrisy? While we are doing research on all kinds, we are pretty divided and confused over our spiritual convictions and ideas while having strong belief in the same at the same time. Is it not a kind of fallacy?

I am surprised and also felt happy both at the same time, when almost all the top notch space scientists of India associated with the Mangalyaan Mars Exploration Project  went to pray to their gods in various temples for success in the said space program just before their rocket count down started a couple of days ago. At least these space scientists deep in their hearts recognize the need for God's blessings for their success, though they would not officially acknowledge the same in their scientific reports and papers. But again the reason for that, I think, is because they are not sure of God's nature, characteristics and such other things. What they have in this case are only vague concepts that perhaps they got from their family traditions and belief systems. While they advanced in their space exploration knowledge, they hardly made any progress in their knowledge about God!

Now coming back to our child prodigy's capabilities. Some decades ago, many used to wonder about the extraordinary mathematical prowess of Shakuntala Devi who died a few years ago just as we wonder about this boy now. If we carefully examine our world we could see many such persons having such extra ordinary talents that are not the normal case with other human beings. There could be hundreds of other such cases which are not reported.

But it is nothing very surprising if we know some more details of God and some more details (than what we know traditionally from our religions) about the manner in which God functions not only for us in this earth, but also for the innumerable worlds of the Universe or more appropriately the Universes.

And such details of knowledge about God and His Universe Administration cannot be cooked up by our imaginations. Nevertheless, it is possible for us to know more , if only God Himself is kind enough to reveal more about Him to us. God has been revealing Himself to humans in the past as well. But He had revealed Himself only to the extent that our ancestors were capable of understanding. How he had revealed about Him is yet another matter. There are various means and His means are not limited in any manner.

But we humans are also imaginative and creative, having such qualities in limited manner, that we get from our Invisible Creator. For that matter, all of us have been provided with talents and abilities in varying manner that are required for an evolving world like ours to progress slowly in accordance with the unchanging laws that Our Creator has determined and installed.

But the plans of Our Creator for us are not that we simply live and prosper in this world for some time. It is much more than that. If we know all that we are bound to be amazed, more than we get amazed by observing some super abilities of some among our fold just as we do while observing the Google boy Kautilya.

Some of you who are readers of my posts in these internet blog facility now know that I write many blogs in these columns based on the revealed knowledge that is contained in my favorite book of life guidance now.

The knowledge it contains is fabulous and I am a student of that knowledge. For the time being, this revealed knowledge has not become popular or a study material in any formal way, though some such formal institutions are known as being set up in some advanced countries such as the USA.

With the help of that knowledge, I could possibly explain the reasons for the extra ordinary phenomena that we observe in Kautilya and such other prodigies.

If I attempt to explain that right away, it would be difficult for many to understand it as such, as they lack certain other fundamentals. So I am not attempting such a misadventure here.

As I have hinted above, there is an urgent need now for de-compartmentalizing knowledge. Our knowledge in Science, Philosophy and Religion work in water tight compartments. We have been working in that manner for quite some time.

That has to go, if we have to progress further. There is a need for integration of concepts and knowledge.

And that is going to happen slowly in the future, but surely it will happen.

Every new generation of ours will be better than the previous ones in some way.

And that is the real way of God's plans and actions!

And they are all with some purpose!

Some great purpose that would be amazing to know!

Evolution of Life on Planets: It is not Automatic, but according to the Plans of God !

Readers who are a bit familiar with this site would have known that many of my blogs here are either based on the knowledge or inspirations I gained from the divinely revealed book of knowledgeof which I have been a fascinated student for the past few years. While presenting such knowledge in some capsule form for my readers, I do acknowledge the fact that there are only  a minuscule percentage of people in this world as of now whose curiosities  could get ignited for knowing more.

Today, I would like to present in brief yet another piece of revealed information regarding the general plan of development of an evolutionary planet with life not only plants and animal life, but also intelligent life (similar to we human beings) as revealed in this book known as the Urantia Book.

But it would be beneficial for the readers to have some idea about the book and some fundamental concepts in this context by reading the following blogs:

The Urantia Book- A Brief by a Fascinated Indian Admirer !

God, the First Source and Centre of everything, is Infinite and is beyond our comprehension. During the times of eternity (that was the period when the visible Universes did not exist) only God existed. Since everything and everybody got created later either directly or indirectly by this very same God, it is better for us to designate this First Source as the Universal Father God.

The seat of God is the Central nucleus of the Universes which is identified by the familiar name, Paradise. To know more about it read my blog :

If we have any characteristics that is some what similar to God, is our personality. In fact, our personality is a gift of God.

During eternity, some more God-like divine beings originated from God, who too are Gods for all practical purposes. Together, they created innumerable divine beings with various capabilities and purposes. Together these divine beings form the personalities who are responsible for the creation and administration of the universes which got created later.Divine beings who are directly originating from God are perfect and are similar to God in many ways while those who are indirectly created may not be so perfect and powerful as God or His immediate divine associates.

There is one conglomerate of a billion  non-evolutionary worlds revolving round the stationary Paradise which also got created during eternal times. Paradise and these billion supreme non evolutionary worlds together form the central universe. These universes are populated by divine beings of various orders.

Space and time as we understand exist beyond the central universe as seven super universes of equal mass and energy. These universes revolve around the central universe.

Each of the seven super universes comprise of millions of non-evolutionary globes and nearly a trillion of evolutionary worlds more or less similar to our earth.

Evolutionary worlds are the worlds of mortal races such as human beings, while non evolutionary worlds , also called the architectural worlds, are primary abodes of the immortal celestial beings.

The primary administrative and creative unit of a super universe is the local universe. Nearly 1000 local universes make up one super universe. A local universe will have several architectural worlds, stars, galaxies, planets and other celestial objects such as novas and black holes. Planets may be associated and held together as a group by some stars or larger celestial bodies of higher gravitational forces. Some planets that evolve during the process of creation of universe matter may become suitable for material life implantation. Such a planet where intelligent mortal life gets developed is called a mortal world. A local universe on full evolutionary development would have one billion or 100 million mortal worlds.

Our earth belongs to a local universe called Nebadon, which is yet to be developed to it full capacity of mortal worlds. Nebadon in itself is part of the seventh super universe named as Orvonton. Three divine beings together rule a super universe. These divine beings are known as the Ancients of Days. The creative head and divine ruler of a local universe is a divine being in the order of a Michael, a directly originated divine being from the Universal Father God. A Michael carries out his universe creation and its subsequent governance  in accordance with the mandate of the Universal Father God, ably assisted by his divine superiors, associates and divine subordinates. He is immediately supported by the divine power known as the local universe mother spirit and another local universe divine chief executive.

To know more about our local universe creator and ruler, read this blog:

Our Sovereign Lord: He has other 3.8 Million Worlds like Earth to look after !

Many planets in our local universe are in the process of becoming life sustaining planets of the future. It might take millions of years for our universe to attain its full capacity.

Material life of plants, animals and humans are designed and created by another subordinate divine beings called the Life Carriers. They do so with the approval of the local universe creator and ruler.

A local universe is further divided in to lower administrative units, the lowest being a mortal world such as our earth. A mortal world is an evolutionary planet where life had evolved to such an extent that it contains intelligent life similar to human beings. Intelligent life is that life which can reason out the intricacy of life and admire the invisible creator (God) who is responsible for life and adore the creator as a result of that reasoning and admiration.

Every mortal world has a subordinate divine administration of itself. It comprises of many orders of subordinate divine beings reporting to their local head called the Planetary Prince.

Most of the members of these divine administration are invisible to the material eyes of the mortals. However, under certain circumstances, some of these divine beings could be perceived by the mortal vision.

For administrative convenience, a local universe is divided in to 100 constellations. Each constellation is further divided into 1000 planetary systems. Every system can have up to 1000 mortal worlds.

The constellations are ruled by a group of subordinate divine beings called the Most Highs. Most Highs are subordinate to the local universe Creator, but superior to the System Head and the Planetary Princes. While System Heads and Planetary Princes are of the same order of divine beings, Most Highs belong to another order of divine beings.

While the Planetary Princes are resident on the planet concerned ( invisible to the mortals of the planet), the head quarters of the other rulers are established on architectural (non evolutionary) spheres (worlds).

Now let us see some more important information in this context:

While there are innumerable agencies of God which control the non-living aspects of an evolving planet, such as energy, gravitational balances, universe communications, etc, it is the primary responsibility of the celestial administrators and their celestial associates to create a conducive over control over every thing that the intelligent mortal life advances in knowledge and civilization. However, they are not permitted to interfere much in human affairs directly. God wants that evolutionary material beings such as humans develop and progress gaining much living experience  using their own intelligence, cooperation and self earned capabilities.

In all normal mortal worlds, mortals are capable of some direct interaction with some orders of their senior celestial supervisors. especially those lower orders of celestial beings who are only a bit superior to human beings. These celestial beings could assist the humans in gaining knowledge and skills much faster than they would have gained it by their own.

Earth belongs to a System of worlds called the Satania system. This system currently has 619 worlds with intelligent mortal life. Earth is world no 606 of this system. The first world of this system is Anova.

A subordinate divine being (let us identify him by the name by the known name, Lucifer) was the System Head long ago. Another of his order, named Satan, was his administrative assistant. A much junior of their order, known as Caligastia used to be the Planetary Prince of earth. Caligastia's administrative assistant used to be another junior of his order known as Daligastia.

They used to work efficiently for the development and progress of earth and its peoples during the initial thousands of years after the Life Carriers successfully created intelligent humans on earth by the process of controlled evolution. You may read that story in the following blog:

Origin and Development of Human Beings on Earth-Have You Ever Heard This ?

Things would have proceeded well on earth as planned by the Universal Administration of God. However, unfortunately things went haphazard for earth and a few others like earth. You may read about it in the following blog:

The immediate effect of this rebellion that happened in the lower echelons of the Universe Administration was that earth and such other affected worlds (worlds where the celestial rulers rebelled against the universe administration of God) got quarantined (they were isolated from the universe communication and energy channels) The effect was that the concerned rebel divine beings lost much of their powers. In later years, the main leaders of the rebellion, Lucifer et al, got detained and removed from their respective authorities. In the case of earth, the Planetary Prince, Caligastia and his followers, too are removed from their authorities. However, they are still free to move around on earth and do some nefarious activities, though their powers are much limited. They are likely to get higher punishment according to the procedures of the universe laws in the future.

Had our earth proceeded according to the plans of God, by this time our earth would have achieved a much advanced human civilization. But the aftermaths of the celestial rebellion has created much confusion among us. Especially with regard to our understanding of God!

We as a class, are miserably failing to recognize and work according to the universal laws of God. When the universe laws are violated, we face consequences accordingly. We make some progress and then our progress moves backward. We are not able to maintain any consistency.

The rebellion has made our world, a world of challenges and great opportunities for spiritual progress. Remember, material progress is not something much to be appreciated. Material progress, though good, is not essential for spiritual progress. Spiritual progress is the one that ensures human beings to advance from the status of mortals to that of immortals.

The status change from mortal to immortal is what God expects human beings to achieve during their life time as a mortal. If they overcome greed, selfishness, hatred, violence and such other evolutionary animal tendencies from their mind and polish it with love, fraternity, cooperation, honesty and such other desirable qualities they are bound to become god-loving personalities. A god-loving personality is bound to become immortal even when they face mortal death.

How that is done is explained in detail in the Urantia Book.

And knowing that enhances confidence. Confidence in the reality of God and to live according to the plans of God.

Is it not something wonderful ?

Think about it !

Halfhearted Privatization in India: Making a Nation Stoop in Shame!

$

In a democratic country, if major policy changes are to be implemented it has to be done in such a way that it would stand vindicated before the people and before the accepted principles of justice.

After independence for nearly over forty decades, India's political arena was more or less stable with one major political party determining its fate. The views taken by the leaders of this party in those days were to have India progress in a quasi socialistic pattern where the government was responsible for major economic stability and growth.

All key economic activities in production and services during those days were almost the sole responsibility of the government. There was no field of activity where the central and state governments were not involved. Education was almost fully government owned and it was offered almost free. The fees, even when levied were very negligible and affordable.

For example, I paid no fee for my entire education up to a post graduation in engineering as a general category student.

Personal income tax was not a major contributor to the government income. The Indian government also fought many wars during those days with its neighboring states. Yet all these used to be managed within the government's income. Of course, the government used to borrow a lot, both from the public and from other sources. Huge budget deficit used to be a common feature.

Then came the era of the minority governments and the governments directed by nominated economic wizards. The political leaders apparently lacked the wisdom of complex economics. They were guided by scores of economic wizards drawn from the so-called top intellectual circuits.  It was further fueled by some politico-economic groups of the West led by the UK and others. These groups pushed the globalization agenda to all nations to follow under what was called the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs or GATT.

The time was approaching for the so-called hard core socialists known as the communists too to accept the benefits of capitalism. Communist nations led by the erstwhile USSR began to collapse under pressures of globalization and privatization ideologies. Even hardcore communist China too diluted its policies and adopted capitalism under name sake communist leadership.

In India, as in the case with other nations, the professional politicians were failing to understand the complex nature of the international economic scene. They were forced to sign agreements drafted by international pressure groups, ably aided by a bureaucracy without having much competency  to understand the intricacies of the rules that would emerge in the near future.

The media and media professionals played the drums for these transition. Perhaps they did not have anything much to lose. They simply aimed for spicy news that either scared or titillate the literate public.

For the Indian governmental leadership, the stakes were too appealing to be ignored. They wanted to privatize India at the earliest. Some economic media men projected the great resources that India government would accrue when they sell the hitherto held shares of its public undertakings. They urged and supported the government to sell and divest

But the government did not have the much needed democratic majority. The political opposition was making hue and cries. Unfortunately, in the democratic politics, those in this profession some how consider opposition as opposing everything irrespective of it being good or bad. Many times the governments took shelter in the opposition views as an excuse for not making effective laws or implementing laws effectively even when they are passed. Many times the executive considered law abiding a problem area.

So the need for going in for halfhearted privatization without much transparency.

Nearly two decades have passed now. India is still a mixed economy. To some extent a worst kind of mixed economy. You cannot make any rational laws without hurting any one, now. You cannot proceed without any one yelling a foul. Too many contradictory policies. Too many chances for arbitration. Too many opportunities for courts and law enforcement agencies to jump in.

Where are we moving? It is sheer common sense to realize that you would make yourself shear apart if you stood on two vehicles moving at different paces.  Could your economy move forward on two different strategies or policies ? It is bound to shatter. It would take time for us to realize it. When a huge ship sinks, a good majority are perished. But some would also survive!

Now the governments of India have shed their responsibilities of giving affordable education or health care to its citizens. Affordable power or fuel are also not coming under their responsibility. Government is also out from giving any social security to its people. Nothing is done free of cost any more. Every thing is chargeable. That too dearly.

IITs and IIMs take millions now in fees, while they maintain the same old facilities or nothing much improved. Their teachers and faculty have not got comparable pay hikes as they had hiked the fees. Neither are there any assurance of these bright students getting any opportunities to use their skills and training for the benefit of their nation. Forget those who are picked up by the multinationals and eventually converted as non-Indians!

Incidentally, I met the father of a bright young management graduate from one of the reputed IIMs today. She together with another four from her institute was recruited by a South Indian company offering a pay pack of over a million rupees per year. That was through the campus selection process. Once inside, the company refused to pay them or give them any proper pay slips. The company was one among the few such fronts used by a clever Indian for doing dishonest business. His recruitment from the IIM again was just a show business. The girl and her classmates somehow managed to get out in a few months of 'captivity' in this company and its unscrupulous promoter. But what is surprising is the disturbing fact that the IIMs do not have any idea or research data regarding the companies and others who come to recruit from their campuses! The employment situation is not so rosy in emerging India now that it is not easy even for the IITians or the IIMans to get a decent job. Forget those millions who pass out as engineers and managers by paying hefty fees to fill the coffers of many family run 'educational and charitable societies'! There is no reliable data on this count in India. How could any one publish such disturbing information? What would happen to the education business that flourished in a clandestine manner in India post privatization if such information is known to the public ?

The uncertainties of economic policies and their lack of transparency in India have made several Indians to become overnight billionaires. Uncertainties and confusions are best suited for some to make a killing!

But what about those who do not have such a mind set? None can assume that all Indians are like that!

India is fast changing into a land of unscrupulous vested interests. Thing are okay so long as no one raises any voice of concern.

It is easy to govern a large country of divided  and ignorant people in the guise of democracy. But how long?

Is it the India that we are going to give to our children?

I am not against privatization. But halfhearted privatization is another thing. If the policy of the government is for privatization let it be that way. But then what is the responsibility of the government? Let them concentrate only on providing a level playing field in a justifiable and transparent manner to all. Let the public interest be the prime concern for the government when they make policies. Let them not make policies for making high profits and income alone just as a greedy private businessman. Let them concentrate on areas where private players are not able to start any sustainable activity and provide those with the necessary support. Let them make policies that are not changed every now and then. Let those in governance act like sane drivers and not as drunken drivers!

Whatever it is, we are going to be doomed when our fates are determined by dishonest public servants, whether they come through politics or through public selection processes .

It is high time that we put this country back on  the right tracks! Every citizen of this country with some right thinking mind should be concerned with it.

Would there be a day in the near future when India and Indians are not required to be ashamed of what they are !

Some Self Test Questions to Check Your Maturity Status !

Now-a-days it is not difficult to find many tools to check one's intelligence quotient (IQ) and similar other personality traits. These are developed by those who study human psychology in a formal manner and do research on that topic.

Let me admit this thing first. I am not one with any formal training in psychology or human personality research. But I do have some ideas about those based on my self explorations and studies out of mere curiosity. That has been further augmented by my inquisitive reading and self study of the book about which I have written many times earlier.

All humans are alike in many features and are also dissimilar  in several other features. But each one of us have a unique personality that emerges out of our similarities and dissimilarities and perhaps many other qualities that are not normally comprehended. In other words, our personality is the reflective resultant of our inherent and acquired qualities.

Every human being, during his life time earns some experiential inputs which might add up to modify his or her  inherent personality. Similarly as humans progress in civilization, modifications and improvements do happen in the individuals of a generation. In general, every generation of human beings face an average improvement in overall personality. The overall personality of a human being is the sum total of his or her inherent physical, mental and spiritual abilities augmented by his or her experiences in these three fields.

The first thing needed in human development is the material development or biological development. Physical and mental abilities are included in this. The next part is the spiritual development which is essentially some thing which is connected with higher mind abilities. However, physiological or biological development  and spiritual developments do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. Biological maturity and spiritual maturity develop separately in us. While biological maturity gets almost gets fully completed, spiritual maturity may or may not be completed in a lifetime on earth!

But if we have to designate a person fully mature, both biological and spiritual maturity need to be considered together. So, by the word maturity, I mean both biological and spiritual aspects of human development taken together. Physical aspects again involves the development of the human body and normal intellect or brain function. Spiritual aspects involves the development of the super intellectual faculties that enable a person to comprehend certain truths that are not easily discerned by simple logic or reasoning.

While biological maturity is synonymous with body development and easily recognizable, that is not the case with spiritual development of the mind. Again, I would request my readers not to confuse with the words biological and spiritual. To make things a bit more clear, you may consider biological development as those involved with the physical growth of the body including that of the brain for making a person live and do his or her normal human activities of physical work, normal communication, courtship and intelligence for doing normal human activities. On the other hand, spiritual development is that which enable a person to comprehend extra ordinary truths such as philosophical truths and divine truths. These are truths which are not normally discernible by the ordinary faculties of physical mind and intellect.

For example, if I say that it is dark here, a biologically mature person might understand it as he or she perceives darkness from light or black from white. One whose intellect is more advanced might understand it in the manner which science has made him to understand as the presence or absence of certain wavelengths of visible light. But a person having spiritual development would be able to attribute more meanings to the same word which is difficult to understand by those who are only biologically mature.

For living a good and a worthy life both material and spiritual capacities are required in some desirable degrees. A wonderful society would emerge when the individuals of the society are fully matured, both biologically and spiritually.

The problems of this world as we experience today are because of the fact that we humans are in varying degrees of maturity. As we are not all in the same level of maturity, it is difficult for one person to understand the other fully. As a result communication gaps do develop between individuals and among groups. These communication gaps generate conflicts which otherwise could have been avoided had all were matured fully.

It would be interesting to know about our maturity levels comprising of both biological and spiritual development aspects.

Here are some questions that I have formulated to test your material and spiritual development status or in other words, your maturity status. It is a self test that any one can attempt by spending a few minutes.

Here is how you do it.

There are 25 statements given below. All statements are to be examined by you as per your knowledge and conviction.

If you find the statement agreeable to you, you give it  4 marks. If you are unable to decide it as true or false, or not agreeable give it 0 marks. Then total out your marks. There are twenty five statements and if you have agreed to all, then you would get 25x4 = 100 marks. If you do not agree with any of these, you would get 25x0=0 marks. If you agree with some and disagree with some, then you get your total marks some thing between 0 and 100.

So here are the statements:

1.  I consider my self physically normal.
2.  I like learning and I can read, write and speak at least one language reasonably well.
3.  I have some special skills and talents because God loves me more than others.
4.  I do face problems in life, yet this life is interesting and there are many opportunities.
5.  If I get power and money, it is okay if I use those for my own benefits and pleasures.
6.  I do some work and earn money for a comfortable living.
7.  I earn enough money and I am capable of making more.
8.  There is no use for working hard and making money if I am not able to enjoy its privileges.
9.  It is better to get some jackpot than working to make money.
10. If some one hurts me, it would pain me, but I would prefer pardoning than taking revenge.
11. I enjoy rest, humor and games; but I don't like to spend time only in these.
12. If I can afford, I will spend my time enjoying rest, games, adventure and such other things.
13. I believe in God and I do think about God often.
14. I think that I am a child of God and all around me are also children of the same God.
15. God is the creator of all, so God should be like a loving father to me and others.
16. If there are bad people, it is my duty to destroy them.
17. Violence is no solution for controlling violence.
18.This world could be better if the rich people distribute their money to the poor.
19. This world would be better if people have good reasoning and understanding capabilities.
20. It is a good thing if I respect those who are elders.
21. Intelligent and clever people would be able to solve all the problems of this world.
22. I don't find any reason to believe in the existence of an invisible God.
23. I find reasons to believe in God and a possibility of our life continuing even after death.
24. There is some truth in all religions; but none of them may be perfectly right.
25. Spiritual development involves learning of some special rituals and practices.

Now to find out your development score you have to do this.

First find out the total score by finding out the number of  statements in the above that are agreeable to you. Suppose that it is 20. That means you have scored a total of  20x4 + 5x0 = 80 Marks.

Then find out how many green statements that are agreeable to you and find the green score. Suppose that you are agreeing to 8 green statements. Then your green score is 8x4 = 32. The maximum green score possible is 10x4=40.

Once you have the green score, you need to have your blue score next. If your total score is 80 and green score is 32, your blue score is 80-32 = 48. The maximum blue score you can have is 100-40=60. You can have both 0 or negative blue scores.

Now with the above scores it is possible to interpret your maturity level. Remember again that maturity here means your comprehensive maturity comprising of both physical and spiritual maturity aspects.

To find out that I suggest you click the link below to open another blog. Go to the blog bottom end. There you will have the interpretations.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of India :A New Era of Indian Democracy in the Making ?

I was born in independent India when the nascent nation was in its childhood days. The first democratic Prime Minister and the First President were in charge. They had a great responsibility to make the nation get rid of its rampant poverty and enhance its abysmally low literacy to some decent levels while taking charge of the governance system that the British had handed over.

They had everything that they needed. A well drafted constitution, a total democratic mandate of the people and perhaps a top bureaucracy who valued principles and practically in-corruptible.

But essentially they lacked the basic principles of democracy, somewhere. Some of those who jumped in to the 'Swadeshi' movement to get rid of the foreigners from governance were too ambitious to get in to the power positions of government that the foreigners had vacated. Aspiring to come to power positions is not bad per se. What was bad was their desire to stick to those positions indefinitely and their desire to hand over their governmental thrones to their heirs and relations. If it is so, even the royals of the past were also to be deemed as democratic.

So with that desire deeply rooted in some of them, the politicians of independent India conveniently adopted a constitution that allowed both perpetuation of single person rule and perpetuation of family rule, though not directly.

They preferred to mimic the British Royal system even when they forced that system to be evicted out. They did not find it worth while to consider the system of the most established democracy at that time that had been in successful existence for a couple of centuries, the democratic system of the United States of America (USA)- the nation who fought the independence movement centuries ago from the same British monarchy and established a successful democratic, secular and federal government with a well drafted constitution.

The future virus of corruption had been knowingly or unknowingly in built within the Indian constitution and the rest is history that we know. The Indian democracy progressed to a full fledged corrupt system-the in built virus multiplying many times in the years to come.

The virus was the constitutional validity of the government and the head of the government to continue in power indefinitely for indefinite terms. There was no ceiling. There was no bar, unlike in the USA where the individual holding the presidential post is barred permanently by their constitution to hold on to that post for more than two terms. Eight years is the maximum a person can be on the top post there, however good he or she may be!

Because, the moment this bar is removed or not incorporated, democracy degenerate to aristocracy. A person holding a power post of governance by all means becomes an aristocrat. If the system allows an aristocrat to maintain that position indefinitely, the system cannot be essentially called democratic.

India is conveniently called a democracy. But is it really so? Democracy is of course majority rule. But how could the people find out the best suited man or woman  to serve them by occupying the elected posts from among themselves ? Those who have come to some publicity limelight are better positioned than those who have not. So those who have held some power positions earlier and seeking democratic mandates in elections are advantageously positioned to get the majority votes.

But this situation cannot be fully eliminated. What best can be done is preventing a person from holding elected posts perpetually or indefinitely. If such a provision is not in built in the system, we cannot say that the system is genuinely democratic.

India now stands in that position. It is quite unlikely that those who tasted the spoils of such a system would ever want that system to be removed. Though people are the final authority, that is only in theory. It would be difficult for the people to make it practical.

But if history is any indication, there are ample examples to show that people use their authority when the need actually arise. It is not difficult for the determined people of a nation to evict those who cling to power with due disregard to people's genuine aspirations! History also indicates that foolish leaders always act foolishly before they fall from grace.

But such things do not happen over night, though the culmination of things could happen that way on a night or a day. Historical events do take place after considerable time of gestation. In the last few decades we ourselves had witnessed many such events taking place in this world before our own eyes!

As an ordinary citizen of India who have been experiencing independent India emerging from its weak childhood to youthful vigor and intolerant middle age and its change from idealism to practical-ism, I have a gut feeling that this nation is now infected with old age weaknesses and sicknesses. It now needs some good life saving treatment to maintain its vigor and efficiency to exist for some more years in the same identity.

Is the new political compulsion called the Aam Aadmi Party or AAP going to be the agent for this to happen? Would India be self cured of its illnesses of degeneration caused by all round corruption, nepotism , greed and sycophancy? Would the Indian gen-next to feel and experience some thing any different and better? Only time would make things clear.

I have been a curious onlooker to these developments. To be frank, I am an AAP watcher and well wisher. I have a feeling that there are millions like me in this country. Regrettably, we have been watching the birth and death of political outfits in the past and we would not want AAP to be one such thing. AAP is in the midst of so many AAP haters. But, I think that would add to the strength of AAP.

In the recent times I have been reading some good online articles and news about AAP. More than the articles and the news, the reactions of the common men and women of India are indeed indications to take note of. Let me give some links of those for you to see:

Aam Admi Party got enough funds from citizens, that too in full public gaze!

Intolerant reactions from a major political party against AAP !

AAP leaders declaring their assets and liabilities !

Ignoring AAP- another strategy !

Fund sources of AAP explained !

AAP history ( in the making) in the Wikipedia !

It is only a few weeks more for the world to know the public mood and swing in its capital, Delhi where AAP has taken the maiden efforts to enter the political arena of India. Unbiased observers feel the public mood already in favor of AAP. But there are many factors in that play in the Indian elections. One has to wait and watch.

But if AAP makes a dent, it would be the beginning of a new era of Indian democracy. The beginning of transparency and entry of light in the darkened area !

What do you feel ?

The Proposed Aranmula Airport of Central Kerala: A Typical Test for Democracy in an Yet-to-Mature Society!

The place called Aranmula[ആറന്‍മുള  in Malayalam, the language of the Kerala people] is hardly four kilometers from my ancestral home in Elanthoor[ഇലന്തൂര്‍ ]. Both these places are peaceful places in the central Travancore region [മദ്ധ്യ തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍] of Kerala State in south India.

Aranmula has been well known  for mainly three things.

One is the Aranmula Metal Mirror called Aranmula kannadi [ആറന്‍മുള കണ്ണാടി] which is a polished metallic mirror made traditionally by some traditional artisan families of this place in some special alloy mix. This traditional knowledge got almost extinct some years ago, only to be revived again, thanks to the prominence of Kerala in the international tourism in the recent years.

Next is the Aranmula Boat Race or vallamkali [വള്ളംകളി] , a traditional water sport conducted in special wooden boats called chundanvallams [ചുണ്ടന്‍വള്ളം ] or snake boats. This is associated with a Hindu religious tradition of the Aranmula Parthasarathi temple [ആറന്‍മുള പാര്‍ഥസാരഥി ക്ഷേത്രം] which is the other thing that makes this place famous. The boat race takes place in the Pamba river [പമ്പാ  നദി ] during the days of Onam [ഓണം]  when the river has enough water. Now-a-days, due to a few hydro electric projects and dams, the river does not have much water during the season and the state government releases water for a few days to help the traditional boat race to be conducted without much difficulty.

But if you consider development and infrastructure in the modern viewpoints, Aranmula can hardly be seen as a developed place. None of the famous things that I  mentioned are visible for a common traveler who happens to pass through this place by road, the only major road through this place which connects the towns of  Kozhencherry [കൊഴെന്‍ചേരി] and Chengannoor [ചെങ്ങന്നൂര്‍] with the nearby district headquarter town, Pathanamthitta [പത്തനംതിട്ട]

All these places in the central travancore area have been traditionally famous for its religious harmony among its peoples who are mostly Hindus, Syrian Christians and Muslims. The Hindus are the major religious community with the Nair [നായര്‍] castes and the Ezhava [ഈഴവ] castes numbering the most. The upper caste Hindus, many of whom associated with the erstwhile travancore royal families have been the traditional land lords of this area. However, the Christians too have prospered much in recent decades and many from this community are very rich due to education and opportunities some of their peoples tried out in trade, plantations and foreign employments.

When neo rich communities emerge, it is quite natural for people to develop jealousies and suspicions against each other. Typical cases of such happenings that culminated in to tragic holocausts and human tragedies are fresh in the minds of at least a few among the world community even now. I am referring to the tragedies the Jews faced in Germany during world war -2, the upper class faced in Combodia , the Hindus and Muslims faced during India before and after partition, the Sikhs faced in India during the early Eighties, the Chinese faced during world war-II and similar other events, small and big.

Fortunately, Keralites of modern times are in general well mannered and educated and they would not resort to such inhuman acts, even while some of them keeping some jealousies and animosities deep in their minds. Those deep rooted jealousies and animosities could surface as peaceful or violent conflicts cleverly disguised as issues relating to environment, animal welfare, traditions, labor and the like, when issues of public interests are initiated to be resolved.

The general opposition of a majority of people of the local community to the proposed Aranmula International Airport project is to be understood against this background.

Ever since the Indian government moved away from socialism and embraced a mixed culture of halfhearted capitalism in the Nineties, what actually suffered a great deal in India is infrastructural development. Government almost stopped spending on infrastructure requiring major budgetary support such as airports, air transport, harbors, shipping, highways, road transport, postal service, education, telecom, etc all of which used to depend much on governmental support earlier. Instead, there was a major policy change wherein the government seemed to encourage private participation in these areas. Regrettably on account of various reasons, the Indian government could not install firmed up policies and laws which would be a win-win situation for all the stake holders in some generally acceptable manner maintaining reasonable transparency in its decisions, in this regard.

In Kerala, the Cochin International Airport Limited [CIAL] was one major successful project which got implemented specklessly during this time as a beautiful example of private-public participation with a determined and efficient leadership provided by a politically handpicked administrator belonging to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). In a similar manner another one of its kind in north kerala, named the Kannur International Airport Limited[KIAL] is being planned. The small, but highly developed state of Kerala, is perhaps the only state in India with three working international airports within a span of about 600 kilometers and yet another in the making. If the proposed KGS Aranmula International Airport Limited becomes operational, this state Kerala would have five international airports in the same distance. Indeed a remarkable achievement for any Indian state!

If the plans of the Indian government goes well, all the commercial airports in India would become privatized in the near future.

Now, coming back to the story of the Aranmula Airport. Aranmula, as I have stated, is only a quiet hamlet in Central Kerala. There is not much commercial activity visible. But Kerala is different from other parts of India in many ways. It is a full and evergreen state with a full coastal region , a full mountain region and a some plain lands. It has both wetlands and dry lands. It has the sea, rivers and the backwaters. It has the green and cold hill stations like the Munnar. What is perhaps not found in Kerala may be the snow and the desert sands! Big cities are a recent phenomena in Kerala. In reality, Kerala as a whole could be considered as a big urbanized land with all benefits of the farmlands. Population density, literacy and percapita real incomes in Keralaare the highest among the Indian states. Millions of Keralites work abroad and millions from other nations prefer to visit Kerala as it is now a very preferred international tourist hot spot.

Over the years, road traffic density in Kerala has increased many times. Due to this, it would take hours for any one to travel to the capital city Thiruvananthapuram [തിരുവനന്തപുരം] or Kochi [Cochin-കൊച്ചി] or Kozhikode [കോഴിക്കോട്‌] from any other place. Most affected in this respect is the people of the central Travancore areas. At least one member from a majority of the families of this region either work in the foreign lands or in other states of India. If they travel to their home state by air, they have to either depend the Kochi or the Trivandrum [Thiruvananthapuram]  Airports and then take the road route to reach their respective homes. A decade ago, they could reach home in just about 2 hours. But now it takes more than double that time. In the years to come, that would increase further, if the government does not act to enhance the transport facilities.

Thus, there is much commercial and infrastructural logic in having an airport in the central travancore area. The prospects of such a thing was visualized first by a businessman from the same area who happened to amass a great fortune by his decades of work in the United States of America. This gentleman knew that an airport would need a considerable stretch of land, a scarce thing to mobilize in the densely populated central travancore.

But without no one ever noticing much, there was a great piece of land belonging to many local people which many of us of that locality identified as Pannivelichira [പന്നിവേലി ചിറ ] a wet land earlier used for paddy cultivation , fish farming or perhaps even pig farming. Panniveli literally means pig enclosure in Malayalam. In my teenage days, I remember visiting this place and remember it as not used for any useful purpose by its owners for most of the time. The owners of the land considered it as a burden and were ever willing to sell their portions of land to any one who was willing to purchase their pieces of wet land that had become not so worthy now.

So, this gentleman slowly purchased this pieces of land and consolidated it in one single ownership. It was a few hundred acres. Perhaps, while purchasing this land, he had no idea of its future use.Anyway, no one found any thing objectionable for this person to become the owner of this land. In later years, he declared his intentions to construct a private airport in this land. He needed the clearances of the state and the central governments and accordingly moved the applications for this purpose. Remember, this is a case where a private citizen has decided to spend his money to create a treasured infrastructure in a place which was otherwise much inferior in developmental aspects.

But India is a land of differing interests. No one actually does anything unless there is some personal benefit. No one thinks of the overall benefits that can accrue to a nation or its people on the whole. What is the benefit if this man is going to spend money, make an airport, run it and amass more money for him and his descendants? For those in the central government, there is not much benefit if the small state of Kerala gets another airport.

So the files kept moving from department to department and I personally heard from reliable sources about the errands this gentleman made meeting the various VIPs to get the clearances for his pet project of a life time. Many times he became apparently successful when the governments, either in the state or in the center declared some kind of approval, only to be realized later that it was nothing final. In the initial period, there was not much opposition from the local people. But as the project got some favor from one political outfit, the others opposed it. Later, the political leaders got successful in initiating some of the locals too to their fold.

Frustrated, the gentleman realized about his folly and somehow escaped from his mission by handing over his land and project to someone more influential than him.

Now that group seems to have managed to gather the much required central government and state government supports and clearances. No, India is a divided state of opportunists now. It is not that easy to go ahead when the house is divided!

If anyone analyze the whole issue from a pure common sense approach, it would have been the local people who would have given the support to a project like this. If the project, that too an international airport, takes shape, the people in the immediate vicinity are going to be benefited.

There are other projects in India where people are opposing. But in those cases, it is the people who are going to lose land when the government tries to grab land in the name of acquisitions using the infamous land acquisition law.

But in Aranmula, it seems that the issues are quite different. The main opposition here is due to something very different. Let me quote the reasons as quoted from an online media:

"The local people and the Greens fear that the airport to be built on a 700 acre land at a cost of Rs20 billion will destroy paddy fields and upset the ecological balance. They also fear that it would destroy the ‘global heritage village status’ conferred on the town by the UNESCO." [ See the Report ]

Yet another local group says that the airport would affect the tall flag mast of the Parthasarathi temple and conduct of the snake boat race. [See the report here!

But apparently these are not the real issues. It is not very difficult to see that the airport is not going to disturb the Pamba river or the boat race or even the temple in any manner. On the other hand, it would help more people to come to Aranmula and visit the temple and witness the boat race.About the issue of the airport damaging the paddy fields, it is true to some extent. There cannot be any cultivation where the air port facilities are built. But for that matter, the majority of the land had already been rendered un-cultivatable because much construction actions had proceeded in the land that had been privately acquired. As I have stated, paddy cultivation in many parts of Kerala are not being resorted to by the owners due to the high costs and non-availability of cheap labor. It was true for this land too. That is the common stand adopted by the leftist political parties when they are determined to oppose a project!

But Aranmula is an interesting case in this regard too. It was the leftist government that gave the green signal to the project earlier. Now while the central government ruled by the Congress led coalition (UPA) gives the go ahead clearance duly supported by the Congress CM and some of his cabinet colleagues, another strong group of peoples' representatives from the same party oppose it together with the those of the left parties!

The matter may not be very understandable by the unbiased onlooker. But it is easy to understand, if you look into the whole issue a bit closely.

The issue apparently lies with the ownership of the private project. The original business man who took up the project and the present chennai based business group, KGS, are both from the Christian community, with their ancestral roots in Central Travancore. How can the upper caste Hindus who were the masters of the olden culture and traditions easily accept such a thing? Community jealousies are not easy to be removed from the mind even when you say that you are much literate and educated! Owning a gold jewelry chain and owning an airport are two different things!

The Indian mind in general has not yet crossed the thresholds of communal feelings and biases. A good majority Indians belonging to the Hindu community cannot digest their country being headed by a Christian lady from a foreign land, even when she might be the widowed daughter-in-law of a famous non-Christian lady. They can be easily hoodwinked to believe that the name-sake Christians in power and politics here are the agents of the western nations, the west here is synonymous as the word, Christian. The communal jealousies are more among the people who are literate and well to do among the majority. The jealousies enhance further when they get opportunities to work in the western countries and compare the economic affluence and improved governance of the so-called-christian majority secular nations with the inferior conditions that are perceived in India- the land of ancient history and culture in the whole world. It is becoming a frustrating thing for them to find the actual reasons. It is a common trait of the inferior mind to put blames of their own failures on others. It is a typical attitude of many people. This is the same some management gurus teach while they try to make their students understand human behavior : It is called the 'I-am-okay-you-are-not-okay'syndrome! And this mindset in the majority is a fertile area for some clever leaders to sow and harvest good fortunes when democracy is experimented as the new system of governance.

Remember, there is not much opposition for the proposed Kannur International Airport. But that is being managed directly by the government with perhaps some minority private equity participation. But in Aranmula, government is only a minority stake holder.

Caste and community feelings are dividing India and the Indian political groups and leaders know too well the benefits they accrue by keeping the people divided over such petty issues. Some of them are too happy to have smaller domains of ruler ship just as the local kings of the olden days. Such divisions can also ruin them and their future generations is what they blissfully forget!

Some seventy eighty years ago, Hitler brainwashed the common christian folks of his Germany to believe that the Jews of his country who were well educated, industrious and generally prosperous were the real cause of poverty and mismanagement of Germany. He was a fiery speaker and writer who could easily convince the general public to vote and support him to accomplish his mission of coming to power.

He managed it somehow. He became the Chancellor of Germany by a flimsy technical majority. Once in power, he used that power to eliminate first his individual enemies and opponents and later an entire community of  a few million Jews. As a person, he was from a decent christian family who got educated to become a christian priest. But politics and power made the man blind and evil! His personal immaturity, jealousies and envy played the rest to his ultimate peril.

Such evil nature resides in all humans regardless of community, religion, culture or educational status. Give the right manure for the evil nature to grow, it will grow. Greed, jealousy etc are some of those manures for evil to grow. At the same time, some Godly nature also resides in man. Love, compassion, fellowship, honesty, service mentality, etc are the factors that make the Godly nature to grow in man.

But it is easy for evil to develop in mind as compared to the divine nature. Therefore, it is easy for some to make a whole group evil with some manipulation.

When divine nature predominates human mind, humans start developing true maturity. A society predominated with mature individuals accomplish progress, peace and happiness.

I am not for or against the Aranmula Airport project. In the city where I live now, there is an airport in the midst of the city. My home is in the line of the airport runway, just a kilometer away. The huge planes take off and land passing over my residence. There are people just a few meters away from the airport wall who cultivate paddy. We have not felt that it is causing some problems to us.

Development and growth is human nature. And that is connected to creativity. And creativity is divine.

I have been a professional connected with environmental issues for many years. But I am not an environmental activist as the so-called Greens of today. If developments cause environmental problems we have the creativity and the solutions. But blindly opposing everything in the name of environment is insanity.

There are some hardcore environmentalists now who do not even allow the tribal of Andamans to wear clothes! There are some others who do not allow people to drink mineral water or aerated water. They would make a hue and cry over Pepsi or Coca-Cola so long as these multinationals do not grease their palms! The polluted and infected river waters are too good, natural and refreshing than the treated water that these companies use in their bottles, at times!

Great enthusiasm! Isn't it ?

But when a developmental project like this Aranmula airport is causing some heart burns on the majority community on whatever reasons, a democratic government in my opinion, should not proceed further. Honoring the majority is what democracy is. Development should not be at the cost of hurt feelings, even when such developments appear as quite logical or reasonable.

But how could you determine majority opinion in a democracy? It is a big task in an yet-to-mature society.

Whatever be that, let not Aranmula cause  building the communal tensions in the Malayalee [മലയാളീ] minds for a potential future explosion, just as it had been happening elsewhere in this great nation for centuries, now and then!

Spice M-515 Coolpad Double SIM Android Mobile Phone-An Independent User Experience !

For almost a month, I have been researching to buy a new mobile phone as a replacement to the one I have been using for almost 2 years.

Not that this one had any problem. It was a Micromax A-75 Superfone Lite which I had purchased for about Rs.8500/-. It was a cute looking black touchscreen mobile with double SIM and a 3.5 inch screen.

Before that I was a satisfied user of another double SIM mobile from the same company which looked like a replica of a famous international brand, but costing only one-tenth. I took the decision to go for a touch screen one from the same Indian mobile phone company, just to prove to some one in my family about the wastefulness of spending high amounts of money for these kinds of electronic gadgets, especially for those expensive models, when cheaper versions having almost the same functionality and better features are also available in the market. The world is now in a fast forward mode with thousands of people engaged in designing and marketing electronic gadgets having various features. The gadget you purchased a few months ago spending a good amount of money would soon become obsolete and cheap when some better designs get released. Those who are rich and have surplus money resources are in a position to buy all these things spending much and throw away those when newer things appear in the market. But it is simply a foolish idea for those who do not have that kind of resources to mimic the rich and waste their scare monetary resources.

But it is the weakness of the majority human beings to mimic those who are famous and rich. Hero worship comes from this inferior mindset. I said inferior, because they lack the ability to analyze situations and take independent decisions that might not be aligned with the thoughts of the majority. So, weaklings are easily brainwashed through advertisements and today's marketing management gurus give much stress to this when they train young marketing managers. An obvious outcome of this hero worship in today's world is the rise of high end brands in the case of marketable products and services and celebrities in the case of marketable human beings. Both these have the followers or fans in millions.

Anyway, that is the status of our world today and there is no escape from this reality.

And I could not convince the brand fan in my family and I had to keep my new acquired mobile to myself and the brand fan purchased the liked brand having the same technical functionality by paying double the money I paid for my A-75. The expensive brand failed in a few months time while my cheaper brand kept working without any such problems. The brand fan got fully satisfied when the failed gadget got repaired by the company after some prolonged, not-much-cordial customer-supplier exchanges!

But it would not be true if I say that my A-75 was perfectly alright. In the beginning it did not bother me much when the phone took a  second or so to respond to my touches. But later I began to feel it as some thing not so desirable when I compared it with the newer versions having faster processors. Yet that was not enough reason to get it replaced and spending money for another mobile.

In the mean time, finding some problems with some mobile network caused me to have more Subscriber Identity Modules , popularly known as SIMs,  from all possible mobile phone companies in my locality. These SIMs are some sort of micro-liabilities now-a-days. You have to keep it in safe custody as it is registered in your name. You cannot afford to miss or lose them. If these miniature micro computer embedded metal-plastic combination get into some unauthorized hands, my life could become a nightmare. The law-enforcers of the country could indeed make my life miserable. So, these extra SIMs that I got during these years almost free  now needs to be kept installed in some cell phone, rather than keeping them in some purse pockets! Moreover, I do not have the skill of hand, as some of the younger generation, to keep the phones opened now and then to interchange the SIMs as per needs! Of course this compels me to incur some recurring expenditure as I have to pay these telecom companies regularly whether I use these or not.

And lastly, my better half too began to have a fancy towards this touchscreen in the recent days. That fancy got migrated towards a compulsion when her non-touch screen mobile showed some charging hitches once or twice.

So, the time was nearing for purchasing another mobile, adding the functional mobiles in my household to four. My wife readily and very kindly agreed to be satisfied with my old A-75.

So, I had to do the research for selecting the new one that I am going to procure.

Luckily, the internet is full of information about mobile phones. You can know all the technical specifications, reviews from various novice users and expert mobil-o-holics, price quotes, comparisons, images and the like by just doing a few clicks. [try it yourself here!

Only problem, is that you need to be a bit tech-savvy to select from these the most ideal one for you.

As I have hinted earlier, I am not in favor of paying more just for a product's brand equity. Perhaps, the so-called MNC brands might be doing some better inspection and testing and may be paying more to their personnel than those manufacturers at the lower ends. But, some customers should be there to promote the products of the smaller players as well.

Considering all these and my requirements, after about two week's internet survey, I zeroed in to the model which I purchased. And this is SPICE M-515 Coolpad

I have been using this now for the last few days.

The following is my independent review of this phone as a satisfied user.

1. Its 5 inch screen which allows me to read word and pdf documents easily and watch photos and videos comfortably.

2. It has a 1.2 GHz processor with enough 1 GB RAM, 4 GB Phone Memory and slot for 32 GB memory card, quite enough for any normal user. It is really swift with regard to the its touch response. It has never hanged so far. I have installed many android apps easily and also uninstalled some without any difficulty. Connection to my PCs through the USB cord was also much easier.

3. The rear camera of 5 MP is reasonably good, with the VGA front camera just for that occasional video calls. Image and video qualities are good.

4.It has some very useful factory installed apps which I find as useful.

5. The pack contains the mini user manual, 2000 mA battery, screen guard, USB cord and charger.

6.The battery lasts comfortably with normal use. It lasts over two days for me, a minimum user. Even with heavy use the battery should last a day.

7. Most important is its price, under Rs.10000/- together with the external memory card of 16 GB.

Perhaps, the only disadvantage that I find with this phone now is the company's inability to supply the flip cover which I find as a very essential thing for touch phones of this size. It is a bit difficult to take it out from the shirt pocket as it could slip from your hands if you are not careful. It could also get damaged by accidental hits! But I hope, this company would soon be able to market the cover!

But remember, this phone is in the market for only for a few months now. It would not be possible to assess its long time usability, customer service from the company in case of problems and its life.

It would be perhaps better to purchase the phone from a local mobile shop, if one reliable one is available, as I have done, instead of ordering it online. The local dealer would perhaps be of better help in commissioning the phone and pasting the screen guard and giving you some better demonstrations!

Attending A Marriage in Chandigarh and Cherishing Some Good Friendships !

It was a few months ago that I got reconnected once again to one old friend. He is Prof.Ujjager Singh Kooner, now Head of Mechanical Engineering Department of Doaba Institute of Technology Mohali Chandigarh.

Our friendship started way back in 1978, when we met first time in the Campus of Roorkee University, Roorkee, India, the first engineering college to start functioning in the British Commonwealth outside of Great Britain.

Ours was an unusual kind of friendship. It was the beginning of a friendship between a Madrassi and a PunjabiSikh. He belonged to the Jatt Sikh community hailing from Macchiwara, Punjab, while I belonged to the Syrian Christian community of central Travancore, now part of the Kerala State.

It was my first ever travel beyond Delhi ( Before that I had just one exposure of the places outside my own home state, Kerala, while we had our All India study tour from during my engineering college days). But Ujjager had a better exposure of south India than my north Indian exposure at that time. He came to Roorkee for doing his Master of Engineering (ME) in Mechanical Engineering after completing his B Tech from Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka, while I came to Roorkee for doing my ME in Chemical Engineering after completing my B Sc Engg from Government Engineering College Trichur, Kerala.

Roorkee, is located in the heartland of Hindustani language, now modified and adapted as the official Hindi language of independent India. I had learned this language during my school days, but had very little proficiency in it in speaking. Moreover, the Hindustani of Roorkee was quite different from the standardized Hindi that we learnt in the southern state of Kerala. So, practically I could not communicate in Hindi or understand it, when I reached Roorkee, in 1978. I was also not good in verbal communication in English either, though I could manage it with some difficulty. Ujjager was much better than me both in verbal English and Hindi.

There was a confusion created by the University authorities in allocating appropriate hostel accommodation to us, the new entrants to the Post Graduate courses. Ujjager and me faced the same problem and that could perhaps the reason for we coming together in friendship for the first time. Later, for the better part of our 2-year stay in the campus, we stayed as neighbors in the PG hostel, named Jawahar Bhawan. While we had nothing common academically, we maintained our friendly interactions through other areas of common interests that we learnt from each other. I remember him being a person of great interest in music, adventure, exploration and the like with lots of vigor and enthusiasm to implement the passion that he had. Occasionally, we traveled together in and around Roorkee, exploring the country side on his Yezdi motorcycle.

We both, youngsters in our early twenties, were bearded at that time, his a religious compulsion and mine a simple result of my own concept of fashion. Ujjager being my first ever close acquaintance with a turbaned Sikh man, ( a rare sight in my home state, Kerala, in those days!) commonly referred to as a Sardarji in most parts of India where they are not uncommon, I got the opportunity to get some insights in to the Punjabi Sikh culture and religion. It could be just a coincidence that in the later years another two Sardarji s became my closest friends!

Ujjager, as far as I knew, was not inclined to spirituality in those youthful days just as I was. But he religiously followed the Sikh dress code. Apart him, there was just one another Sikh in our Roorkee hostel at that time, who used to be a chain smoker of tobacco, some thing considered as a religious taboo for Sikhs. The trouble in keeping up with the religious codes of  attire for the Sikhs perhaps landed many of them in to problems in many countries. The men are required not to shave or cut their beards and hair and wear the head turban and a ceremonial sword, called the Kirpan, one of the five articles of faith of a Khalsa Sikh.

Not having other Sikhs to help him, Ujjager occasionally used to take my help in winding and making his head turban in the morning during dressing up. Hidden behind the long rolled turban, the Sardarji s have a very long saintly hair, called Kesh , having much weight! Sikhism being the youngest religion in the world has adopted many things from the Semitic Religions of the middle east and from Hinduism. The Khalsa mandate for Kesh has much resemblance to the Nazirite vows that Samson of the Bible had to follow.

At the Roorkee campus, I had another friend, a white American with some Scandinavian roots. He was Donn Trease, doing his PG in Architecture. Unlike Ujjager, Donn was a highly religious born-again Christianwith a missionary zeal. On account of their unlike polarities, these two close friends of mine did not share any friendly interactions directly between them. Donn and me too used to travel together to explore many places in North India.

Campus life at Roorkee was indeed one of the golden times of my life and the full two years passed too quickly.

Later, due to some unfortunate events, about which I had written in some other blogs, many of us had to leave the Roorkee campus, without submitting our independent research thesis works, a mandatory requirement for the award of the ME degree. Even after the twenty-four months, a good majority of we PG students could not become eligible for getting our degree certificates, even though we had all passed the written examinations in good grades!

During this time, every one seemed to be of their own. All had their own problems of leaving their temporary shelter in the campus. Ujjager by this time had decided to get married and his marriage was getting finalized. I remember him inviting me to Macchiwara for the betrothal ceremony, which I was not in a position to oblige. After the betrothal, I remember him showing me the snaps of his would be wife.  Immediately thereafter, he took the decision to visit his elder brother in the USA and left the campus for a globe trotting. It was some time in February-March 1980.

It was time to think about the future. The options for me were, either to go for a PhD and later try a career in teaching or enter in to some professional job, either with the government or in the industry. By this time I had many offers for jobs from the Indian industry and I took the decision to join the public sector steel major, the Steel Authority of India Limited. The options of completing the ME thesis work and pursuing PhD at Roorkee looked bleak for me then due to the sudden decision of my professor guide to leave Roorkee.

Reluctantly though, I decided finally to join Steel Authority of India Limited at Bhilai Steel Plant. There were just a few of our PG batch left in the campus at that time. It was Donn Trease who went all the way to Delhi to book my railway berth to Bhilai and came with me to Delhi to see me off.

Ujjager kept posting me letters and cards from his foreign locations. Later he returned to Roorkee to submit his ME thesis and get his degree and joined the public sector oil exploration company, the ONGC.

We never met thereafter for decades and lost contact of each other. I got married, became a father and a grandfather.

We had seen many epochal changes in history during these three decades. We had seen the revolutions of television, telephony and the internet happening before our eyes. We had seen a world without them and are experiencing a world with them.

We are watching with awe the advanced abilities of our younger generations.

Many of us in our generation, though well educated to the standards of our generation, are not so good with the computers and the modern electronic gadgets, though many of us are trying to keep pace.

For many years, I have been trying to locate my lost friends through the modern tools of communication. Slowly and slowly I got some success here and there. While the modern generation cannot think of a world without mobiles, Google, facebookor whatsApp, we had lived and known such a time and are trying to live with such things!

It was a great moment of happiness when I located Ujjager and Donn through the facilities of Google and LinkedIn . While I could re-establish my contact with Ujjager again, I could not do so with Donn yet. However, I know that Donn is  now Prof (Dr) Donn Trease, the professor of Architecture in a Private Engineering College in Nepal, just as Ujjager is now Prof. Ujjager Singh Kooner in Chandigarh.

So, when Ujjager called me last month and insisted of my visiting him at Chandigarh to attend his elder son's marriage, I had no choice, but to oblige.

So, me and my wife, Lizy, made the trip to Mohali, Chandigarh and attended the marriage of Prabh Manek, Ujjager's eldest son working in the US. The auspicious day was on the 27th November 2013.

It was a indeed a re-union after thirty three years. Had we met else where we could not have recognized as we had become old to be recognized. But there are many things of our personalities that did not change and that are known only to us! And we reached Ujjager's home in Mohali on the 26th night. He had made arrangements for our stay in the palatial house of his neighbor and friend Mr Darshan Singh Sahi. Besides me and my wife, there were two other old couples, Mrs & Prof (Dr) SVN Tyagi from Meerut and Mrs.& Mr D.N Sharma from Dehradun who too took the pains to travel much distance to attend the marriage. All of us stayed with the Sahi's and wonderfully touched by the warm hospitality of Darshan Singh and his wife Mrs Ranjit Kaur Sahi. Prof Tyagi and Ujjager became friends in Roorkee later in 1981-82 period when Ujjager returned to complete his ME thesis. The former was doing his PhD in Physics at that time. Mr Sharma who worked with the Syndicate Bank was the neighbor of Ujjager when he was with ONGC at Dehradun.

The re-union was wonderful and the occasion was the beginning of a new generation family.

To keep the memories of this occasion, I am adding some select pictures that I had taken with my new mobile phone- the Spice M-515 Coolpad- about which I wrote earlier.

Though the above description appears some what personal, I take the liberty to make it in the public domain just to convey the beauty of friendship and fellowship in this short lives of ours. These friendships going beyond the barriers of culture, language, religion and status can give wonderful human experiences when they are devoid of egos, pride and envy!

And if such experiences are opportunities to elevate us to super personal spiritual experiences, that would be much more beneficial.

The Story of Jesus Healing the Daughter of the Syrian Woman: What Really Happened ?

$

In the New Testament (NT) Bible there is a small incident described in the Gospel (of Jesus Christ) according to Mark, Chapter-7, verses 24-30. This is a passage, where Jesus is apparently equating a woman from a non-Jewish community (commonly referred to as the gentiles) to that of dogs.

Did Jesus actually make such a differentiation? What was his intention? The Bible passage is not very clear.

First let us examine what Mark wrote as translated to modern English:

Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.

In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.  The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.

“First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

“Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”

She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Now, I had been thinking about this for some time. I wanted to know more about what possibly could have happened. But there was no other source other than the Bible. The same story is narrated in a similar way in the Gospel according to Matthew too in the NT Bible. It is in Matthew Chapter 15 verses 21 to 28. Let me reproduce it too below:

Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”

Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

“Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Essentially both these Biblical narrations are the same, only with some minor changes. Here too Jesus is apparently equating this woman who was belonging to an inferior community by the community to which Jesus belonged, as dogs. Of course such caste differentiation existed in the olden times and we are aware of it.

Yet I was curious to know more. I now have my favorite book of divine revelation and life guidance, the Urantia Book, which tells exactly what had happened in this case. This is narrated in Paper-156 of this Book. Let me quote below the relevant narration from this wonderful book of celestial authorship:

On Friday afternoon of June 29th AD 29, [Put this date in the Julian Calendar conversion slot to see whether it was really a Friday! See my blog here for more details!Jesus and his associates arrived in the environs of Sidon, where they stopped at the home of a well-to-do woman [ named Karuska ] who had been a patient in the Bethsaida hospital during the times when Jesus was at the height of his popular favor.

There lived near the home of Karuska, where the Master [Jesus] lodged, a Syrian woman [named Norona ] who had heard much of Jesus as a great healer and teacher, and on this Sabbath afternoon she came over, bringing her little daughter. The child, about twelve years old, was afflicted with a grievous nervous disorder characterized by convulsions and other distressing manifestations.

Jesus had charged his associates to tell no one of his presence at the home of Karuska, explaining that he desired to have a rest. While they had obeyed their Master’s instructions, the servant of Karuska had gone over to the house of this Syrian woman, Norana, to inform her that Jesus lodged at the home of her mistress and had urged this anxious mother to bring her afflicted daughter for healing. This mother, of course, believed that her child was possessed by a demon, an unclean spirit.

When Norana arrived with her daughter, the Alpheus twins [disciples of Jesus] explained through an interpreter that the Master was resting and could not be disturbed; whereupon Norana replied that she and the child would remain right there until the Master had finished his rest. Peter [disciple of Jesus] also endeavored to reason with her and to persuade her to go home. He explained that Jesus was weary with much teaching and healing, and that he had come to Phoenicia for a period of quiet and rest. But it was futile; Norana would not leave. To Peter’s entreaties she replied only: “I will not depart until I have seen your Master. I know he can cast the demon out of my child, and I will not go until the healer has looked upon my daughter.”

Then Thomas [disciple of Jesus] sought to send the woman away but met only with failure. To him she said: “I have faith that your Master can cast out this demon which torments my child. I have heard of his mighty works in Galilee, and I believe in him. What has happened to you, his disciples, that you would send away those who come seeking your Master’s help?” And when she had thus spoken, Thomas withdrew.

Then came forward Simon Zelotes [disciple of Jesus] to remonstrate with Norana.

Said Simon: “Woman, you are a Greek-speaking gentile. It is not right that you should expect the Master to take the bread intended for the children of the favored household and cast it to the dogs.”

But Norana refused to take offense at Simon’s thrust. She replied only: “Yes, teacher, I understand your words. I am only a dog in the eyes of the Jews, but as concerns your Master, I am a believing dog. I am determined that he shall see my daughter, for I am persuaded that, if he shall but look upon her, he will heal her. And even you, my good man, would not dare to deprive the dogs of the privilege of obtaining the crumbs which chance to fall from the children’s table.”

At just this time the little girl was seized with a violent convulsion before them all, and the mother cried out: “There, you can see that my child is possessed by an evil spirit. If our need does not impress you, it would appeal to your Master, who I have been told loves all men and dares even to heal the gentiles when they believe. You are not worthy to be his disciples. I will not go until my child has been cured.”

Jesus, who had heard all of this conversation through an open window, now came outside, much to their surprise, and said: “O woman, great is your faith, so great that I cannot withhold that which you desire; go your way in peace. Your daughter already has been made whole.”

And the little girl was well from that hour. As Norana and the child took leave, Jesus entreated them to tell no one of this occurrence; and while his associates did comply with this request, the mother and the child ceased not to proclaim the fact of the little girl’s healing throughout all the countryside and even in Sidon, so much so that Jesus found it advisable to change his lodgings within a few days.

The next day, as Jesus taught his apostles, commenting on the cure of the daughter of the Syrian woman, he said: “And so it has been all the way along; you see for yourselves how the gentiles are able to exercise saving faith in the teachings of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.Verily, verily, I tell you that the Father’s kingdom shall be taken by the gentiles if the children of Abraham are not minded to show faith enough to enter therein.”

My dear readers! Could you see any difference in the story as retold by the celestial (non-human) authors of the revealed book of knowledge to modern mankind?

If you could discern that difference, you should consider reading this revelation to know what God wants us to know and do.

And if that desire burns even faintly inside you, you are in search of God. But nurture that desire.

May the Great God, the Universal Father of all, bless you in your endeavor!

Jesus' Discourse on Science in Athens- the Capital of Greece!

The gospels of new testament bible gives only some limited and partial information about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ when he lived in this world, as a perfect human being for a short while of just over three decades, some 2000 years ago.

The narratives in the gospels are written by human beings of limited abilities, even though they might have been strengthened in their abilities by some divine blessings. The Bible gives only very little information about Jesus Christ, especially about those 28 odd years before he actually began to preach and teach in and around the land of the Israelite people.

At the same time there are many non-biblical books and the so-called apocrypha books telling the stories about Jesus that are available to mankind. But these books have many things which could be well judged as human imaginations or exaggerations by a closer study by any unbiased and logical probe.

But in the latter half of the twentieth century AD, something miraculous happened in this context. This was the publication of the Urantia Book in 1955. The last part of this great volume of information in English language depicts the life and teachings of Jesus Christ- a much treasured historical information that was hitherto unrecorded or lost from being recorded.

My purpose is not to discuss about how this detailed history got prepared and published. My purpose in this blog is to provide my readers an exposure to what Jesus taught those with him, as given in the book that I mentioned above.

Please read carefully the following passages, directly quoted from the Urantia Book, Paper-133:

They [Jesus and his Indian merchant friend Gonod and his son Ganid) shortly arrived at the olden center of Greek science and learning, and Ganid was thrilled with the thought of being in Athens, of being in Greece, the cultural center of the onetime Alexandrian empire, which had extended its borders even to his own land of India. There was little business to transact; so Gonod spent most of his time with Jesus and Ganid, visiting the many points of interest and listening to the interesting discussions of the lad and his versatile teacher.

A great university still thrived in Athens, and the trio made frequent visits to its halls of learning. Jesus and Ganid had thoroughly discussed the teachings of Plato when they attended the lectures in the museum at Alexandria. They all enjoyed the art of Greece, examples of which were still to be found here and there about the city.

Both the father and the son greatly enjoyed the discussion on science which Jesus had at their inn one evening with a Greek philosopher. After this pedant had talked for almost three hours, and when he had finished his discourse, Jesus, in terms of modern thought [the concepts of the discourse when translated to English language as understood in the 20th Century AD], said:

Scientists may some day measure the energy, or force manifestations, of gravitation, light, and electricity, but these same scientists can never (scientifically) tell you what these universe phenomena are. Science deals with physical-energy activities; religion deals with eternal values. True philosophy grows out of the wisdom which does its best to correlate these quantitative and qualitative observations. There always exists the danger that the purely physical scientist may become afflicted with mathematical pride and statistical egotism, not to mention spiritual blindness.

Logic is valid in the material world, and mathematics is reliable when limited in its application to physical things; but neither is to be regarded as wholly dependable or infallible when applied to life problems. Life embraces phenomena which are not wholly material. Arithmetic says that, if one man could shear a sheep in ten minutes, ten men could shear it in one minute. That is sound mathematics, but it is not true, for the ten men could not so do it; they would get in one another’s way so badly that the work would be greatly delayed.

Mathematics asserts that, if one person stands for a certain unit of intellectual and moral value, ten persons would stand for ten times this value. But in dealing with human personality it would be nearer the truth to say that such a personality association is a sum equal to the square of the number of personalities concerned in the equation rather than the simple arithmetical sum. A social group of human beings in co-ordinated working harmony stands for a force far greater than the simple sum of its parts.

Quantity may be identified as a fact, thus becoming a scientific uniformity. Quality, being a matter of mind interpretation, represents an estimate of values, and must, therefore, remain an experience of the individual. When both science and religion become less dogmatic and more tolerant of criticism, philosophy will then begin to achieve unity in the intelligent comprehension of the universe.

There is unity in the cosmic universe if you could only discern its workings in actuality. The real universe is friendly to every child of the eternal God. The real problem is: How can the finite mind of man achieve a logical, true, and corresponding unity of thought? This universe-knowing state of mind can be had only by conceiving that the quantitative fact and the qualitative value have a common causation in the Paradise Father [God]. Such a conception of reality yields a broader insight into the purposeful unity of universe phenomena; it even reveals a spiritual goal of progressive personality achievement. And this is a concept of unity which can sense the unchanging background of a living universe of continually changing impersonal relations and evolving personal relationships.

Matter and spirit and the state intervening between them are three interrelated and interassociated levels of the true unity of the real universe. Regardless of how divergent the universe phenomena of fact and value may appear to be, they are, after all, unified in the Supreme [manifestation of God].

Reality of material existence attaches to unrecognized energy as well as to visible matter. When the energies of the universe are so slowed down that they acquire the requisite degree of motion, then, under favorable conditions, these same energies become mass. And forget not, the mind which can alone perceive the presence of apparent realities is itself also real. And the fundamental cause of this universe of energy-mass, mind, and spirit, is eternal—it exists and consists in the nature and reactions of the Universal Father and his absolute co-ordinates.

They were all more than astounded at the words of Jesus, and when the Greek [Philosopher]  took leave of them, he said: “At last my eyes have beheld a Jew who thinks something besides racial superiority and talks something besides religion.” And they retired for the night.

My dear reader! After reading this much, could you get a feeling deep in your mind for exploring more about what is written in this book?

If so, it would perhaps be a good idea to nurture that feeling and proceed accordingly.

Best Wishes!

What is Soul ?

What is Soul ? Spiritualists and philosophers have evolved various definitions for this word. Some modern dictionaries explains the word like this: 'the immaterial part of a person; the actuating cause of an individual life'.

While living as an young man in the regions of the present day Israel some 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ used an equivalent of this word in his native Hebrew language and also in the ancient Greek language which he knew while he used to interact with those who listened to him.

He used this word many times that one progressive thinking man of that day in the city of Ephesus (the then capital of the Asian region of the Roman empire of those days) asked him the meaning of this word ' soul'.

Jesus explained it in the following* manner:

“The soul is the self-reflective, truth-discerning, and spirit-perceiving part of man which forever elevates the human being above the level of the animal world.

"Self-consciousness, in and of itself, is not the soul.

"Moral self-consciousness is true human self-realization and constitutes the foundation of the human soul, and the soul is that part of man which represents the potential survival value of human experience.

"Moral choice and spiritual attainment, the ability to know God and the urge to be like him, are the characteristics of the soul. The soul of man cannot exist apart from moral thinking and spiritual activity.

"A stagnant soul is a dying soul. But the soul of man is distinct from the divine spirit which dwells within the mind. The divine spirit arrives simultaneously with the first moral activity of the human mind, and that is the occasion of the birth of the soul.

“The saving or losing of a soul has to do with whether or not the moral consciousness attains survival status through eternal alliance with its associated immortal spirit endowment.

"Salvation is the spiritualization of the self-realization of the moral consciousness, which thereby becomes possessed of survival value.

"All forms of soul conflict consist in the lack of harmony between the moral, or spiritual, self-consciousness and the purely intellectual self-consciousness.

“The human soul, when matured, ennobled, and spiritualized, approaches the heavenly status in that it comes near to being an entity intervening between the material and the spiritual, the material self and the divine spirit.

"The evolving soul of a human being is difficult of description and more difficult of demonstration because it is not discoverable by the methods of either material investigation or spiritual proving.

"Material science cannot demonstrate the existence of a soul, neither can pure spirit-testing.

"Notwithstanding the failure of both material science and spiritual standards to discover the existence of the human soul, every morally conscious mortal knows of the existence of his soul as a real and actual personal experience.”

Indian Roads: Forgotten Fundamentals !

$

Indian cities and villages are getting developed in an unprecedented manner for quite some time. The agencies involved, the money spend and the methodologies adopted  are all unprecedented.

The governments collect road tax from all who purchase new vehicles. In olden days, road taxes used to be collected on an yearly basis. Now it is being collected in one lot for the entire useful life time of the vehicle at the time of purchase of a new vehicle. The road tax component has become a major part of the cost of a new vehicle now in India.

But yet governments (central, state and local) do not seem to have enough money to keep the roads well maintained. Apparently the system of allocation of tax money for road construction and maintenance is not so transparent.

Roads are a clear sign of development of any well administered and governed country. Even some of the good old maharajahs of the erstwhile princely states of India too used to maintain their roads properly. One can see those centuries-old remnants of Indian roads at some places even now. Fortunately, the Indian administrators have not yet applied their brains to reconstruct at least a few of those in their own haphazard manner!

There used to be a few agencies in the past who used to be the whole sole custodians of the roads of India. They are still in existence. They are the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and the PWDs of the respective states. But apparently they all work in an invisible manner for reasons better known to them and their political bosses. Decades ago, the roads used to have some sign-cum-display boards giving some hints to the public about the officer or engineer responsible for the up keep of a particular section of the road. Now such boards are hardly visible. When they do not do their work properly, it could easily bring the people ire and they now do not want such a thing to happen!

Now-a-days, there are additional agencies. The National Highway Authority and other works departments of the cities are all examples.

But when all these agencies are required to work together to achieve some road maintenance or construction tasks to the satisfaction of the users, it seems that such a thing is never possible for them now. Co-ordination of work and synchronization of their respective works now seems impossible. Thanks to the progress of the democratic systems of governance. In olden days, the national boundaries used to the no-mans' lands. Now the city boundaries, the state boundaries are all no-mans' lands in India. When the Indian democracy works truly as a federal system (authorities and responsibilities vested with many), the misfortunes of the people enhance many fold. Transparency and accountability also seem to be with none!

Every one has some excuse for not delivering what the people want. If the people's monies are pilfered, that was simply the result of the chaos that inherently developed within the complex system of governance. The illogical watch dog agencies added further complications to the already weak governance and administration in India in general. The roads too got affected adversely in this mess, just as many others.

The conventional democratic system of India run by seasoned political professionals and family politicians are proving their ineffectiveness in providing a proper administration and management of the public wealth of the country. The people of India are slowly realizing the folly of depending on these people for effective leadership and public service administration.

As it stands today, the Indian roads are not a safe bet for any one to travel. Any thing can happen. But it could be a thrill for the adventure minded to travel in the Indian roads now.

You try to travel some hundreds of kilometers in the Indian roads using the confidence given by Google maps and your new foreign designed Car or SUV, you would soon realize and repent over your foolishness, unless you are really a brave adventurist.

You speed off in a national high way which you felt as really of international standard when you started off. Before you could cover just about 5-10 km you have to come to a halt and be in the line to pay off handsomely to the private toll tax collectors. Paying for the good facility that the private investor had been allowed to create as an alternative to the public road facility may not be felt as a big problem. That is the way it happens in the capitalist countries like the USA. That is considered as an alternate way for faster economic growth. But remember, it is an alternative and not the sole and only choice!

In India, this aspect is seriously ignored. The toll roads created here and there are the only choice and not an alternative for those who are willing to pay some money extra for some better facility.  In India, the elected representatives of the people seem to forget about the common people and allowed a situation wherein the toll highways are the only alternative for travel in some stretches of the national highways. The existing road that had been there for decades have been handed over to the private investor in patches of few kilometers who in turn re-carpet it slightly better and collect huge sums from every one for decades. In some places, the private investor invested a few crores and recovered his whole invested money within months besides ensuring a potential for collecting thousands of crores of rupees in future with the tacit approval of the people's representatives of the democratic governments!

There is no common policy to determine the toll taxes either. It is simply as per the whimsical formulas of the concerned authorities. In some places, there are stretches of toll highways having lengths to the order of 200-300 km taking toll tax of just Rs.50 or Rs.80 for a motor car while there are also stretches of highways with lengths of just 15-20 km taking the same amounts. I remember paying nearly Rs.2000/- for my own car journey through the National Highways from Raipur-Nagpur-Hyderabad-Bangalore-Chennai-Vizag-Raipur. That was a couple of years ago, when the roads were just getting renovated. The toll could be much more now. Imagine the tolls the heavy truckers have to shell out ! Toll tax may not be a bad idea per se. But there has to be some transparency and justifiable policies which are digestible to the people at large!

A visionary leader of modern India very rightly declared the need for good roads in India and tried to propagate some thing called the 'golden triangle' concept of national highways. It was indeed a remarkable vision. But even after a decade it is an unfinished agenda. That is the efficiency of the existing subordinate bureaucracy and technocracy of the Indian federation to convert a leader's vision to action! Apparently, the Indian political leadership lacks the ability to create dynamism to the existing bureaucratic executive system for any appreciable actions recognized by the people as something good. I am not ignoring the good works that keep happening here and there in India. But on the whole, there are much things desired getting seriously affected  and the system lethargy is too visible for the common citizens to just ignore!

In many cities, some of the elected governments were so daring that they give permissions to roads running right through some populated cities to be converted as toll roads. They had even forced the citizens living in one part of the city going to the other part and returning to pay every time. Some of the democratic people's representatives of India were so daring that they simply did not care for the people's ire.

It is another thing that the people of India used their democratic power to over throw such fellows. But the fellows have any way made great fortunes in this game!

The Indian roads in some cities have fantastic road signs with glittering letters erected across the roads at some remarkable heights. It is indeed a glittering view for the visitors, but not for the drivers who want to take some lead from those for the right directions. On the other hand, on the highways of India, you do not find any such sign boards even where there is a junction or a crossing. Many drivers travelling in the nights on these high ways are bound to travel to some other direction covering scores of kilometers before they realize their mistakes!

The high ways in some parts of the country do not have any motels or resting places. Some corporate big wigs had made very good facilities in the past only to be dismantled later due to the un-supportive attitudes of the governments concerned or their greedy subordinate authorities. Another example of the people's representatives failing to deliver either for India's economic growth or infrastructural facilities or making the inherent administrative organizations to function under cohesive or transparent policies!

If you travel in the Indian highways making good use of the good horse power of your modern vehicle and the road surface you thought as apparently good and wide, there is a likely danger of you suddenly driving your vehicle in to some thing you never ever imagined to exist there. It could be a ditch or a sudden disappearance of the good road even! Indian road engineers apparently do not visit the road construction sites when the sites are far away from the usual travel routes of their political bosses. Such areas are purely left to the supervisors of the contractors. And why should the latter spend some extra money to place the necessary road signs at appropriate places to give warning to the drivers? The Indian law enforcers may chase the driver and the owner of the vehicle when a road accident takes place and are too efficient to put them in their lock-ups. But I have not yet come across the news of a case when some road contractor or road engineer of the government getting arrested for lapses in the roads leading to accidents! On the other hand, there are umpteen cases in India, where the authorities chasing and arresting some remotely connected persons holding similar responsibilities when accidents take place in some factories, cinema halls, hospitals, and the like! Road and Railway authorities in India are the fortunate ones in this regard!

I have written just some fundamental aspects concerning governance and administration with regard to the creation and management of just one essential infrastructure of the country responsible for the overall economic growth and prosperity. Apparently, our administrators and political leaderships seem to forget some fundamental aspects. That is the fundamental of people first. If that is ignored, the people might some day rise to set things right.

This is what the conventional political players seem to forget. This is what the government servants seem to forget. When they forget people, they are bound to become arrogant. And when they keep showing their arrogance and disregard to the aam aadmi (common people) movements like the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would rise to make those arrogance to humility.

Am I telling some thing wrong ? Correct me if I am.

India's Caste System: Jesus' Answer to His Indian Friend !

[The narration given below is taken from my favorite book of life guidance, the Urantia Book. The book reveals to us for the first time, the details of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, that are not covered in the Bible. When Jesus was about 28 years of age, he undertook a year long journey in the company of a wealthy Indian merchant, named Gonod and his son, Ganid, who was of nearly the same age as Jesus himself. These three journeyed together in the areas of Palestine, Egypt, Greece and other parts of the ancient Roman Empire during AD 22-23 period. Jesus worked for Gonod as a language intrepreter, especially Greek in which the Indian merchant lacked proficiency and traveled with the Indian father and son sharing many life experiences and thoughts. The Indians had visited these foreign lands in connection with their trading business. The following incident happened during the course of their journey]

One day while resting at lunch, about halfway to Tarentum, Ganid asked Jesus a direct question as to what he thought of India’s caste system.

Said Jesus:

“Though human beings differ in many ways, the one from another, before God and in the spiritual world all mortals stand on an equal footing.

There are only two groups of mortals in the eyes of God: those who desire to do his will and those who do not.

As the universe looks upon an inhabited world, it likewise discerns two great classes: those who know God and those who do not.

Those who cannot know God are reckoned among the animals of any given realm.

Mankind can appropriately be divided into many classes in accordance with differing qualifications, as they may be viewed physically, mentally, socially, vocationally, or morally, but as these different classes of mortals appear before the judgment bar of God, they stand on an equal footing; God is truly no respecter of persons.

Although you cannot escape the recognition of differential human abilities and endowments in matters intellectual, social, and moral, you should make no such distinctions in the spiritual brotherhood of men when assembled for worship in the presence of God.”
